Is full lentil bread a bad idea bc 1/4 cup of red lentils is 28g of carbs? Or is whole wheat bread a better option

I was a patient of Dr. Ali for about 1 yr before I moved away. I’ve never met a doctor that didn’t push drugs or ignore your concerns. He gives his time to educate the public through monthly lectures at the hospital. I wish to God that I could still have access to his practice. I lost 90lbs because of his guidance and improved my health.

MTHFR seems like could be playing a role in the inability to breakdown carbohydrates molecules into proper number of ATP molecules and the remainder being stored as lipid molecules.

Wrong information, mostly LDL cholesterol builds the plaque in arteries. Whether LDL is raise from insulin resistance or high saturated fat intake, but you focusing only on one aspect i.e insulin resistance, stop misleading people. People start consuming saturated fat after watching this video.

At 70, I answered "yes" to 8 items from Dr Bikman's list! As a type two diabetic for over twenty years, nine months ago I started gradually reducing carbs and corresponding insulin therapy. I have lost 10% of body mass and cut out insulin shots completely. Also just started wearing a CGM to better understand the impact of different foods and activities. After just one month my glucose levels are now over 90% "in range" (4.5 - 9.0 mmol/l or 81 - 162 in US speak). I also walk at least 10km per day in the lovely South African sunshine! Next step is to start reducing oral medication. Thank you for keeping me informed. What is often not mentioned is that my mental health has also improved.

I understand I should be Keto, PCOS, but I HATE it. I feel so terrible, even after several days. Also, I can't sleep on it and it makes me VERY depressed. Certainly, there could be another way slightly less strict to improve my health. Keto is too extreme and unsavory for me.

Girrrrl. I really appreciate and enjoy how factual, educational, and informative your videos are. But what would help me is some dumbed-down simplified, and maybe shorter versions, of them. When you're doing long explanations of complex ideas my brain just goes numb and I lose my attention span. And doing lengthy calcs in kg does the same. We in US go by lbs. I get the answer is in grams, which makes sense. Many other Podcasters do a quick-n-dirty calc in lbs, and that seems like it should be good enough to me!? Otherwise, you just lose me, and I'm a CPA. Just a couple tips that may help broaden your audience, and keep listeners!

LDL P is caused by a few things. Mainly High blood sugar. DO NOT LISTEN TO VEGGIE HEADS OR VEGANS! They simply are full of It. PLANTS cause high blood sugar bruh! Eating carnivore will correct your blood sugar In Literally a week! AAALLLLLL SUGAR COMES FROM PLANTS!

If improvements in insulin sensitivity disappear within a couple of weeks of stopping exercise, then did you really improve insulin sensitivity, or just temporarily increase glucose uptake/ disposal, possibly through insulin independent uptake/ clearance?

I didn’t do a diabetes test specifically but I went to the hospital recently and on my blood test it showed my random glucose was 6.3 mmol/L. Is that considered diabetes? I exercise everyday and don’t really eat added sugars at all so I don’t really understand why it’s high
