My A1C is elevated despite my lifelong low weight, low BP, focus on whole foods and protein. I minimize refined carbs (but do eat some). What can I do? I’m 44 yo and I have high stress and disrupted sleep due to my third baby being a type one diabetic since 14 months of age. Would love ideas to reverse pre-diabetic A1C.

Enjoyed this podcast. Beth's story is inspiring as I recently turned 60 and agree with Beth to make my next decade better. I listened to this podcast as I did my morning walk and laughed and was inspired to reset. Keep up the wonderful job Beth!

Thanks so much for this pocast. I am 64 found Siblings about 4 years ago when I retired. My A1c is 5.8 down from 6.2 just changing a few things and adding other better things. I like listening while I am walking. I had leg cramps too but found out that I needed electrolytes. I like wine in moderation:)

Beth was a joy to listen to!! I felt she was telling my story, especially the big salad with low fat dressing, LOL! I’m on the waitlist for Zivli but I wish I didn’t have to wait until Jan.

I have a question about high morning fasted glucose . Over the past year I have used 16:8 IF , lost 25lbs ( BMI is 23) , used lower carb diet ( Triglycerides are under 50) . My A1C is 5.5 but my morning glucose is always over 100 (105-108). I tried a CGM and even with a last meal at 6PM it showed readings of 98-100 all night long then upon waking up it goes up as high as 110 , i workout before I eat at 10am and it may even go up a littler more. I check my fasting insulin and it runs under 6 ( as low as 4.4). My HOMA-IR would be 1.5.Does this show insulin resistance. Thanks
