Chevy Cobalt Fuel Pump & Fuel Filter Replacement How-To

This video demenstrates hot to drop the fuel tank and replace the fuel pump and fuel filter on the Chevy Cobalt. Fuel pump and fuel filter were purchased from Amazon and I will include links below. I will also include a link for the brass punch as well.

Yeah not to bad of a job. What would have been easier was if GM would have put an access door under the rear seat. Especially knowing that GM fuel pumps are notorious For problems.

Think I have fuel pump dieing. Have a 09 Chevy Cobalt that had real rough intermittent idle check engine light would come on when it happened & go off then est fuel range keeps going down & not using gas first going to replace fuel filter haven't ever possibly hopefully that fixes it if not amazon had fuel pump assembly for like $50 bucks brand Kax FG0915 looks factory with the black inside tank cords. Runs alot smoother after replacing throttle body new on amazon was only like $60. Likey have mechanic confirm before the trouble.
