I just binge watched your last 3 episodes because I was away for several weeks and couldn't watch any knitting podcasts. I was feeling so behind and out of touch with all my people in the knitting community. Your podcast (woolcast) is definitely one of my favourites. A perfect mix of information, inspiration, banter, etc. Looking forward to seeing you again at the PEI Fibre Festival in real life.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE HARMONY PART THIS EPISODE. I WAS IN PEI FOR 2 DAYS BEFORE "THE HURRICANE", SO WE HAD TO LEAVE AND I DID NOT GET A CHANCE TO EXPLORE THE ENTIRE ISLAND, BUT JUST WATCHING THIS, I AM NOW PLANNING TO VISIT AGAIN WITHIN THE NEXT YEAR! BEAUTIFUL!

I'm with you Betsy. I don't likeca boat neck. I have narrow shoulders and a boat neck is trickier for me to get the right fit.

My fix for sock pick up is one I learned from Kay Jones of the Bakery bears. Pick up one extra stitch in each corner and then knit through the back loop of the picked up stitches on the first round. It works for me.

I LOVE all the projects you shared! The new blanket squares are fantastic as always. I loved the dialog and joyous laughter amongst you three! All of it! Great photos and videos in the harmony part. I can't imagine the frustration when the first take didn't save, but I'm so happy you redid it for all of us to have something wonderful to watch :).

Whenever we would holiday in PEI from Ontario we would stay at Stanhope beach area, and we would be the only ones on the beach ! It was wonderful. Sorry Kim I couldn't wait for the books to come in to your shop, so I had to order the Peter Rabbit knitting book from Indigo. Thanks for the visit with friends.

❤ Wonderful podcast. Thank you for all of the work you put in to the production. Here is an alternative to picking up stitches for the gusset from Roxanne Richardson. I use it and as a new sock knitter I was really fortunate to find it so I was not frustrated with those little gaps and holes and over-stretched stitches. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qIbbmZKtmtqYZtksi=DZMhhPsfG5NPqOHj. All the best, Joyce.

You ladies are so lovely and such a joy to knit along! Thanks for putting in the effort to record most of this episode twice! I love how you all got a little loopy and started to bring out all the puns 😄Your chat about the Framed sweater (and boatnecks in general) was very interesting to me because I'm very interested in how body types align with knitwear designs. It makes sense to me that Simone likes that neckline because she has athletic shoulders, so a boatneck and particularly a very structured one like Andrea Mowry's designs look great on her. Whereas Kim has a narrower frame and shoulders so her preference for a crew-neck and v-neck makes all the sense. Meanwhile Besty has a similar shoulder width as Simone but a softer frame, so I actually think that a boatneck would look great on Betsy too but the design should be less structured (which would help with the choking feeling)--the first example I could find is the Tide_loop_top by Other Loops. I can already picture Betsy in a pink version! 😊

Simone, I’ve heard that with mosaic knitting you end up knitting each row twice. Do you think that’s essentially accurate? I’ll admit, I’ve been working on a shifty sweater for over a year as I’m finding it a bit of a slog. It’s beautiful but a little painful. Love listening to you ladies so much!
