OMFG Just remove the freaking strap and through it out. It doesn't serve a purpose and looks stupid.

As masterofnone says, the engines run hotter with that black crap on them, take it off!

Ordered a set with the tire package and had nothing but a horrible experience. Got a vibration over 70 mph and the chrome peeled off. 3k for the set and it’s absolutely garbage. Save your money.

Powdercoat also acts as an insulator. Less heat the better for your engine, especially a harley!

If you read the description on there website it says the spokes are stainless not chrome like the rest of your wheel so they won't be as shinny as chrome they will have a stainless steel look .

Well, these aren't designed for commercial use. Got to spend real money for one of those. You get what you pay for. Also when they asked what you used it for why not just say no it's just for airing up lawn mower tires. Live and learn.

HORRIBLE COMPANY! I ride an Indian Chieftain. Bought front and back rims. They sent me wheels drilled for Harley rotors. I was able to put the front one on because it was redrilled by DNA before they sent it to me. Indian has different hubs than Harley. So i was sold a factory defected wheel and charched full price. They lied, and eventually refused to send me a return label for the back wheel to be replaced. Paid $1700 for basically 1 faulted wheel. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Do yourself a favor and read through Google Reviews. They will tell you all that you need to know

How did it ride with 10 weight ? Im going to do mine and use 20 weight type E , the Letter is Viscosity Harley Recommends the weight is for damping the blows 10 15 20 30 I ride a Dresser so I want a semi smooth ride not to much bounce and don't want to bottom out . I think the 10 might be to light and 30 to stiff I took a test ride on a Indian the rear shocks must of had 50 weight it was like riding a bucking bronco I never road a bike so stiff Harley don't list the Grade of oils for shocks they want to sell new ones .

I bought the newer Metabo C12RSH2 and found the same amount of deflection. The odd thing is that it had the same amount of deflection all along the rails (slid all the way in or out). When I pushed on the rails themselves they didn’t budge. On closer inspection it was coming from the head itself. It’s a shame because it was an otherwise great saw. I switched to a Dewalt 779 which surprised me with much less deflection, almost none. Also the base and fences are much better milled on the Dewalt (square out of the box). In comparison the motor on the Metabo is noticeably quieter and has a soft start. The vertical handle on the Metabo is surprisingly comfortable too, but the horizontal handle on the Dewalt didn’t cause the head to twist on my sample so I guess vertical vs horizontal isn’t as big an issue as some make it out to be. One last difference, the Metabo comes with a much better blade 60T vs Dewalt 40T combo. Neither saw showed much runout when I spun the blade against a dial gauge.

Thanks for the video. But boy!.... did you hit the nail squarley on the head! Harley's are like a running sore. The twin cam is an attempt at polishing a turd. I've owned Panheads and Evos and other brands. Simple to fix. Tractors with two wheels. The twin cam....why? They are not powerful, quick or agile (my Buell was). The are a nightmare waiting to ruin your day and prevent sleeping, by concern over, "WTF will this POS need next?!! I'm currently doing the cam tensioner replacement job and every part I remove, highlights another issue. I am really considering a jap bike at this point. These things have become a joke. Nearest HD dealer is 50+ miles away. Delivery can take weeks and I am wondering now, after riding Harleys for near 40 years; "Is it really worth it anymore?"
