@@daveoldaker5589its possible to fix it even with whatever damage has happened since you last posted about the storage climate. a lot of amiga owners still out there today that get daily use from them. new production motherboards, ways to repair drives and replace with modern ones even, the hard drive idk but its not impossible.

Just incredible to look back and realise what the people in the 90's considered to be the most important features in a video editing software package. These days, everything is far more subtle, yet technically complex, such as motion tracking and video stabilization.

@mystica-subs7 жыл бұрын
Real-time snow effect turning into white lines in the right margin.. I always look at oddities like this and try to figure out 'why' this would happen. All i can think of is that the framebuffer for these effects was smaller than the video one, and somehow when compositing together, the pixel at the far-right column got stretched to fill-in the other columns?

WOW, not bad given the weight carried, how long are your motors lasting, are you doing anything special in the way of motor maintence
@VideoDaveO10 жыл бұрын
Mike A I did remove the plastic cover around the motor. Figured it was for looks and not much else and also would allow more air around the motors. Then I cut up a soda can and stuck pieces under the plastic that goes around the motor. This put it against the motor to act as a heat sink. The can pieces stuck out a bit to take the heat away from the motor. Later I found out that removing the plastic cover made the motor mount weaker to side impact and it broke the connection. I purchased new ones and plan on cutting some of it off to allow air to get to the motors, but still act as support for side impact. This was more made as a toy and I did not expect it to be able to take a whole lot. I have no idea how long the motors lasted in hours, but after about a month of playing with it, it started acting up. 1 or more of the motors started failing. Right now I have 4 new ones to install sometime.
