Let's have a fear interview contest, when he doesn't know if his gun has any bullets (his guy just gave it to him and said he would need it); he just knows it doesn't fit his pants while he's sitting for a coffee night with a stranger...?

I want to like this song, but I hate the reason for its existance. What Tori is singing about I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

I was at a performance by Suede in the 90s when the lead stopped the performance and told people to put their cameras away and just enjoy the performance. It is hardly a new thing

You can see the pain and hatred in her eyes and facial expressions and it breaks my heart for her and anyone who has been through something like that. Is that why he was on her back? Because he couldn't look her in her eyes while he stole her pride, her sense of being safe and secure, her self confidence, her innocence, and so much more. I can't understand how a man could do that to get their sick satisfaction as if she isn't human. Nobody deserves that and nobody should feel like it's ok to do that to someone. She is still paying an unimaginable price for a few minutes of pleasure for a man who deserves torture not pleasure.

I was in elementary school when this came out. I still listen to it regularly. My mom was really into tori and i gravitated towards music because of my freedom to find interests as a kid. I still play in my 40s now and still listen to toris music. Thanks mom for putting on good music

My ex wife had something bad happen to her when she was young, it broke her. I couldn't heal her no matter how much I tried, nor what I sacrificed, and I sacrificed everything, in 2011, she killed herself, now I carry her scar's, her pain, and the blackness she carried. If it weren't for God, I would not be alive now. This song is her song. It's up to us men to protect our women from those who would do them harm. 😞

Here I am, I grown man, lying in bed crying. I don’t know how or why but this song just inspired me to stop chasing the picture-perfect life I was striving for just to make my parents happy. I have my own passions and dreams that I am in control of, why am I living a life that makes me unhappy? I’m literally the one in charge!

Five a.m. Friday morning Thursday night far from sleep I'm still up and driving can't go home obviously So I'll just change direction 'cause they'll soon know where I live And I want to live Got a full tank and some chips It was me And a gun And a man On my back And I sang Holly Holy as he buttoned down his pants You can laugh It's kind of funny Things you think Times like these Like I haven't seen Barbados so I must get out of this Yes I wore a slinky red thing Does that mean I should spread for you, your friends Your father, Mr. Ed It was me And a gun And a man On my back But I haven't seen Barbados so I must get out of this And I know what this means Me and Jesus a few years back used to hang And he said it's your choice babe just remember I don't think you'll be back in three days time so you choose well Tell me what's right Is it my right to be on my stomach of Fred's Seville It was me And a gun And a man On my back But I haven't seen Barbados so I must get out of this And do you know Carolina Where the biscuits are soft and sweet These things go through your head when there's a man on your back And you're pushed flat on your stomach it's not a classic Cadillac It was me And a gun And a man On my back But I haven't seen Barbados so I must get out of this I haven't seen Barbados so I must get out of this
