i guess disney always overlook the characters's age especially the age caps . Yes its unsettling and creepy in plenty of ways. But if both the couple are of age even with these age gaps then its no big deal Interestingly the only couple on the disney canon that became parents is ariel and eric. When Ariel was 16 in 1989 film, eric was ranging between 16-18. If he was confirmed to be 18, i dont know what to say. if the movies sets in today yeah its weird but not as appaling as other couples. But i prefer fictional couples to be the same age. But it is a work of fiction in book and movie. But if eric was actually 16 then its not an issue. Interestingly his voice actor christopher was 16 the time he provided the voice, so technically its isnt as weird. Then in the sequel return to the sea, Ariel was 28 while eric was almost 30. They had a 12 year old daughter Melody.

As the son of parents who are exactly seven years and three weeks apart (and have great grandparents who married when she was 20 and he was 40), I don't consider an age gap crazy if it's in the single digits. I'm also not buying Florian is in his 30's. Granted, drawing male characters was a challenge, but he looks like he's in his late teens or early 20's. Also, no prince is going to be a bachelor for that long.

Idk i mean i find the Age gape between them not so bad (the only one that did worried me was Snow White but some people say that the prince wasn't as old as you and some others saied) (he was almost as young as snow white) (but idk really, which one is true or not) and ok its a bit worriedsome that the start so young...not all of them but some...but i mean come on in todays world is still so, not just in the past.
