I have two 2004 Boxsters, a base manual, and an 'S' 50th anniversary Spyder with a manual. The base has 228 HP and the "S' has 264. The 'S' is substantially quicker, but both are fantastic drives. One benefit of he base is it's a 100 pounds lighter, and I could actually feel the difference going back to back. Whatever one you purchase, you'll have a great time. Enjoyed the video.

How would you compare the engine & power of this car to the F8X m3/m4? Does it feel just as fast?
@LavshBeatsTMlavishbeats13 күн бұрын
I haven’t driven the F8X M cars but I own a Supra and can tell you that its every bit as quick as an M3/4 on the road. Don’t ask me how I know lol
@AutoWisdom13 күн бұрын
I would agree, the Supra feels on par with a F8X M3/M4 in terms of power. I think this is in part due to the underrated power figures of the engine and its low curb weight.
@lostalx13 күн бұрын
Initially I did not like the design, but looking at modern uber expensive M cars, this is a better one for many folks who want a B58. I still have to test drive this. Rumor has it, Z4 is ending so next gen Supra will not be a I6 anymore but a 4Cyl hybrid. That makes this car the better Supra to own in modern times.
@AutoWisdom13 күн бұрын
Hopefully we get a GRMN variant with an S58 engine! That would be the ultimate Supra in my opinion.

The M240i is a more practical car for day to day use but the chassis of the Supra feels noticeably sportier. It's much more dialed in for track use.

Great vid! My experience with my 330i convertible automatic is also absolutely wonderful, a hugely enjoyable top-down mountain roads cruiser! Having driven all the installments of the e90s' 330i, I am really quite surprised at how different they are to eachother - for example, e90 and e91 feels sturdy, planted and somehow trustworthy; e92 feels like a focused, responsive and agile sports car, while the e93 feels like a pint-sized grand tourer - softer and more comfortable, but still provides ample feedback and quick pace.

Agree 💯, I've got the B48 in my 2017 1-series. With a little tickle its around 260hp and 410nm of torque. It's very light because it misses the 2 cylinders up front. Absolute blast to drive. 20 seconds to 200kph / 120 mph. And breezed to 240+ kph / 150+ mph on the Autobahn.
@hettmannsperger425 күн бұрын
its nothing compared to the m140 b58. But yea for a 4 pot its fine.
@12Music725 күн бұрын
@hettmannsperger42 I know, I looked at the 140i as well. It's just a lot more expensive as a daily..
@hettmannsperger425 күн бұрын
@12Music72 Not really if u compare numbers. I drive it's as a daily with 100k km on now and I have to say it's pretty cheap still as a performance car. It depends on where u live I guess. In Germany insurance is fine, not really more then for an regular 1series. If u drive daily calm on the pedal, u get like 8-10l per 100 km. That's around the same as the 48. Service isn't really more expensive either. Just bring ur own oil to the deal and u be cheaper on. Also the value on the 140 gonna hold up much better, as its the last 6 cylinder 1 series.
@12Music725 күн бұрын
@hettmannsperger42 it is if you compare numbers lmao. That's why I decided to go for the 4-pot for now. Next car will be a 3 or 5 series with the B58. The numbers in my case are as follows: road tax and insurance are 30% more expensive. And my mileage is more like 6,0-8,0 L /100km. Which is €1000 in fuel more per year..

My first Tesla was a 2020 Model 3 Performance. I went to a Model Y after that and just recently last month picked up the new 2024 Model 3 Performance as it seems to fit my needs better than the Model Y That being said the original Model 3 Performance especially the early years 2018-2020 are killer deals on the used market for the price you can't go wrong!
@AutoWisdom28 күн бұрын
How do you like your new Model 3 Performance? I’ve been itching to get my hands on one!
@gabeh737328 күн бұрын
They improved the car in every single metric. Definitely qualifies as a refreshed version, adding in the larger rear motor is the cherry on top of everything. It really is the ultimate daily car for the $$ and you have plenty of power when you decide to use it. Don't think there's anything on the market that gives you the same bang for the buck value as the new MP3 especially when you add in the Federal tax credit and depending on your State they have tax credits as well which makes this car a no-brainer
@AutoWisdom28 күн бұрын
Agreed, it's tough to justify anything else at the price point. I'm glad they introduced the Quicksilver color to the lineup as well. The new exterior design language makes the car look so much better now in my opinion.
