Nod isn't really a Russian word, Krai is edge, land or region, you're right about that Also, Nashgorod (Nasha town, apparently, interesting how it's feminine again in the English version, because it's just one word how I spelled it in Russian and it complies with Russian grammar (word for town/city is masculine)), the city Helka mentions, is just "Our city" which is kinda hilarious (there's technically Novgorod, a city in Russia, and if fact two of them, being "new city", but our city is straight up funny). And if Morepesok is truly a village we can meet in Snezhnaya, and not just fanon (I gotta go read Childe's character stories to make sure) it just means "sea sand". Not as a collocation (that'd be "morskoy pesok", but straight up a combination of the words sea and sand). I already hate Nod-Krai, even before it's released. Because i wished we could experience the main part of Snezhnaya right away, not be introduced through some knock-off piece of land that sorta has a different culture... I'm most excited for Snezhnaya OST, and i wanted to hear how it would be in the main part before going to something like Nod-Krai. For years i just had this scene in my mind how we arrive sort of like in Inazuma (because it's an island), and now it's ruined i guess, since we're going into some intermediate location without jumping in it right away. I think i have a theory of what they're doing now, but it means Snezhnaya is going to be bigger than Sumeru after all: Nod-Krai = Eastern Europe (which is quite ironic, because it's west of "western europe" in the game) Snezhnaya above Fontaine = European Russia (the main city is going to be there) Snezhnaya above Mondstadt = Asian Russia (this place will have the coldest climate)

So, people have been thinking about how we don't have all 7 elemental dragons. But now the Frost Moon is clearly associated with one of the elements we don't have a dragon for. So maybe the three moon sisters were Dragon Sovereigns? Dragons of Earth, Water, Trees and Wind live on the ground, of course, but dangerous elements like Cryo, Electro and Pyro could be launched into the orbit to keep them away from the surface.

"arrogation of mankind" we later learn that the twin by this point was already playing with the abyss and worked with khaenriah to open a gate to it. So the Sustainer's disdain was not directed at the MC but their twin whom they were with and was now trying to run away from the problem they created. "the arrogation" is taking what one is not supposed to, the power of the abyss.

i dont think the crimson moon is a moon but most likely, ronova. You can see it in arlecchino's design with that distinct dark red colour. Both of her wings are also covered in 6 eyes - the same number of eyes in ronova's design. Also, Arlecchino can give "death" to her children by using her power. And considering that arlecchino is descended from the crimson moon dynasty, there must be a connection with ronova and the crimson moon! It is further proven in the book, Perinheri (a book that was recommended to arlecchino by Pierro). In the book it says that Perinheri was forced to crawl in a small, pitch-dark corridor. When he reached the other side and knocked on the door. The grown-ups kept saying: "Are you *dead* yet?" When he said yes, the grown-ups said that he must've seen "it" then. This "it" is the crimson moon that Perinheri did see. "It" turned around and revealed itself to be a Humongous "eye" (Ronova's eye?). But this could be false as this book is just a story told in Khaenriah, phased through generations. Yet, it is interesting to look at!

wait... if phlogiston is said to be the precursor of the 7 elements and assuming correctness of the theory of the power of the frost moon predating the 7 elements then this would connect to Norse Myth where the first two realms are the realm of Ice (Niflheim) and the realm of Fire (Muspelheim) before the other realms were created; where there are 2 precursor realms, and 7 other realms, making up the nine realms; the same way that genshin can have 2 precursor "powers" and 7 elements, making up nine sources of power
