if you read the lore for jade fall splendor, it states that the inhabitants of chenyu vale originally lived in the chasm (presumably in the unified civilization) and migrated to chenyu vale once the nail was the dropped

@@sthezh The Chasm's celestial nail has no releation with Khaenri'ah, the nail were thrown there in the first civilization's times, Khaenri'ah golem went there in the battle 500 years ago, when Bosacius died there. Bosacius and Yelan ancestor created that compass thing from the event using the energy of the pillar, that was there much before them. Jadefall Splendor don't say "from a chasm to the south", it says they came "far from the south", which of course COULD be the chasm, but we need to have in mind that every memory could also be fake, "everything you don't saw is an illusion, believe only in your eyes". We are talking about old and destroyed civilizations from thousand years ago, what people say are not totally trustfull.

I believe the Chenyu God is Orobashi. why? According to the Sacrificial Jade, the Chenyu Vale god died on a foreign land. Then, according to the Oatsworn Eye, Orobashi was defeated by Deus Auri (Zhongli) and Raiden Ei. Orobashi died in Inazuma, thus supporting the Sacrificial Jade lore. In the books we got from Watatsumi and Enkanomiya, it hardly mentioned what Orobashi's true powers are.

Sucks that we didn’t get more Celestia or Orobaxi lore here, but maybe they’re saving it for the Lantern Rite or for Dain’s quest. Pretty sure the Nail fell in the Chasm and not in Chenyu Vale. Personally, I wouldn’t take too much stock in where Celestia is hovering on the map since people have said that for Fontaine as well and it didn’t turn up anything. And why would Celestia hover about Chenyu Vale in particular? It also sucks that we didn’t get anything more about Paimon more than what we already knew and suspected. Even if it reinforces the Seelie connection it still doesn’t really make the list of suspects any shorter lol. And personally, I don’t see Alice as a Descender. So many people from Knaenri’ah and elsewhere know about several of Teyvat’s secrets, and we know individuals capable of foreseeing the future or even traversing worlds, but they don’t meet the classification of Descender. That said, am I crazy for thinking Alice is hella sus? She gives me more bad vibes than even Skirk for some reason. And tinfoil hat time: this is likely to be extremely wrong, but if Zhongli IS a Descender, it would explain his contract with the Heavenly Principles to keep silent about them, especially if he was actually involved with the creation of the Gnoses. It also explains why he agreed to the contract with the Tsaritsa, even though he knows that there is nothing in the world that matches the value of a Gnosis. How would he know that if he was actually the one who helped make them? Not to mention how revered he is, how his description still didn’t get updated after the Rhukadevata wipe, and how he was able to kill so many gods by himself in comparison to even gods like Ei.

I don't think she is a Descender but I think she might be related to the Seelie race. Her Gold, Nicole and Barbeloth all have a huge link to the Seelie race and the Shades. I am certain of it, finding out the specifics is more difficult however. Also, I don't think Zhongli is a Descender. Hard to say but I think he's a celestial god/human from the old world that obtains illumination and authority over geo. It's really hard to say though, he's such an anomaly because it feels like we never get anything for his lore.

7:00 i don't think Fujin was the Celestial Emissary, but she thinks she is. Chenyu Vale had a previous civilization, in the era of the united civilization, and they received a nail that changed the geology, which means they got abyssal corruption at some point. What do we have to do when dealing with abyssal corruption? Erase the info from the Irminsul to prevent the corruption. Sometimes deleting a person, sometimes deleting the story. So, the Emissary, his memories and the fact that those ancient civilization left Chenyu was deleted, and now Fujin thinks she was the Emissary and they lived there all the time. That's why everytime she is telling some story to us, she stops and change the subject, because she doesn't know what happened, she wasn't there.

Rubicon doesn't just mean a boundary it means an irreversible commitment. Crossing the Rubicon means taking a step that you can't take back. It's from the river Rubicon in Italy that was a boundary of the city of Rome in the sense that the senate commanded the generals not to lead their troops past it to attack the Republic's capital. Which Julius Caesar did in 49 BC, making himself emperor. As the phrase depends on a knowledge of Earth history to understand, it's theorized that Alice has been to Earth of more likely has learned about it from people who have.

​@@Enochnes I think the Rubicon isn't a place necessarily but a stage in space/time. It could be the space between Teyvat and the abyss, the old world and the new, Samsara, Celestia and Teyvat, the Firmament. Hard to say for now. I still wonder if it relates to Alice.

I guess we crossed one when we read Before Sun and Moon, despite knowing what happened to Orobashi because of reading it.

So, I have many things I wish to say. So please allow me to list them down XD Changsheng/Herblord: I do believe they are the same Adepti, as for the reason why Herblord has red eyes and Changsheng has Golden eyes, might be an indication that even back then, Changsheng would share her power with the mortals. She just wasn’t bound by contracts to do so, it was something she simply wished to do. Baizhu’s ancestors finding Changsheng likely occurred after the Archon War was finalized, and Changsheng was now officially following the God of Contracts. Chenyu Vale’s God/ Xiao’s Evil God: I do not think they are the same, in Xiao’s Character Story 2, it appears to suggest that this God enslaved him before the Archon War even began, it was only during the Archon War that Morax slayed them. Chenyu Vale’s God was a rather good Deity who only turned more evil during the Archon War, not before. Divine Nail Mural: I do believe this Divine Nail is striking down the civilization in the Chasm. And as we can see in the mural, the people are walking away from the Chasm … meaning that the inhabitants of Chenyu Vale are descendants of the inhabitants of the Chasm’s Inverted City. There are many interesting questions that this opens up, but he most important question being. Will we learn more about the Inverted Fountain? (In the Geography Archive for Chizhang Wall, it tells us that the ancestral people of Chenyu Vale migrated here from the far south. Which means that the Divine Nail in the mural struck an area south of Chenyu Vale, this leaves the options of the Chasm, and Deshret’s Desert … and Deshret’s Descendants still live in the Desert, leaving only the Chasm as a viable option.) Yuxi/Chenyu Vale’s God: this is a discovery of mine, but if you travel around the borders of the Mt. Laixin and Chenyu Vale: Southern Mountain region, you will quickly come to find a stone tablet that talks about a “Yuxi” and that … they unfortunately won’t be able to talk to their friends anymore … which makes me want to assume if Yuxi is the name of Chenyu Vale’s previous God? Paimon’s Seelie Talk: I honestly think that Paimon is talking so weirdly about them because she doesn’t really want to explain to Little Mao on how Seelies work, “Do you guys play with Seelies often?” … we don’t specifically play with them, we follow them because they’ll very likely lead us to treasure. “… Play together … Yeah …”. “Wow, looks like the Seelies really like you guys!” “Sure, haha … Yeah, that’s it…”. Paimon is just simply agreeing with Little Mao to avoid explaining the exact specifics on the matter of Seelies. That’s all, hope this helps, have a good day!

I knew someone would notice Paimon sus behaviour about Seelies... Why is she so weird about playing with seelies? Guess we can only speculate. Also the big sister is probably just Zhiqiong. She was the cartographer of Chenyu Vale. If you completed Valors afterglow you get a different reaction from traveler and paimon when little mao is talking about the sister - they are sad and silent. Also little mao said something that his big sister might be exploring the ancient city of Ys which I couldnt find any game related information on... Any ideas what that might be? (Yes I love Zhiqiong and Im happy each time she's mentioned in the game, hoping we will meet again one day even if its in the abyss...) Plus I think Alice is an ascender - from Teyvat but travelled outiside where she found out information about earth and the idol managize she gave to barbruh etc
