I work in manufacturing and sometimes mentally understanding all of the axes can be a little confusing since I'm not one of the machinists. If I'm understanding correctly, this would be a less conventional three axis setup? It seems like normally you would have the X and y axis of the table, and the cutting head would move up and down on the z-axis? But in this case because the work plane can rotate that sort of acts as an artificial z axis?

That is awesome. Imagine that in a amazon ou other big wharehouse sorting packages. Would be cool if you make a tic tac toe game. Or chess. I would love to see that. Great work all the way

Just wow, I wish I had these kinds of Lego Technic kits when I was a kid. The closest I ever got to doing anything like this was building a model ski lift from K'Nex as well as a very rudimentary "wire frame" model of an AT-AT walker with moving legs from the 5th Star Wars movie.

Excellent. If you made one corner of your base incorporate a turntable the robots could be rotated. I also think the items they were lifting and rearranging could incorporate marble run tracks. You could then reconfigure the marble run track by linking the units in different ways and have the robot and and retrieve the marbles as they ran on them.
