This is a model of a rotary engine (Wankel engine) made with Lego bricks. The model is based on the Mazda 13B-MSP "RENESIS" engine, which is mounted in the car Mazda RX-8.
This model is submitted to the Lego Ideas (August 19). I would like to ask your support:. I would like to ask your support:

Instead we learn about 6 oranges that cost $99 for some reason is better than 8 oranges that cost $78. And how many John needs to buy for his dog to feed to his wife, that can eat 2 oranges at 8 miles per hour. Then we need to know how many seconds it will take to snort 87 grams of cocaine, which is what the person who that of these problems is on. Now we divide them to know how many cars are on highway 32 when it is 8:37.

I've been wondering, how does this type of car engine work? You say you're a long time fan of these types, and I was hoping you could share some insight
@AstroNerd
@AstroNerd 3 жыл бұрын
TrainBoy227 YT Just like a typical 4 stroke engine that uses the up and down motion of the cylinders, connected to the crank shaft, to turn the drive shaft, the spinning rotors are connected to a crank shaft which in turns drives the drive shaft. Rotary engines have the benefit of putting out more horsepower for a given size engine (the Mazda R8’s 1.3 liter engine putting out 232 hp). Being smaller, the engines can be mounted further back (behind the front wheels) and lower to the ground meaning you can design a better handling car around a rotary engine. Also, rotary engines also have fewer parts. However, rotaries are not as fuel efficient as their four stroke counterparts and require more dedicated maintenance. Failure to perform routine maintenance, like oil changes will result in premature failure. Lastly, the seals at the tips of rotors (the apex seals) will only last so long (60k to 100k miles - maybe a little longer if the engine not driven hard) and need to be replaced. However to do so means pulling out the engine and opening it up to access the apex seals. All in all, rotaries are quirky engines and require more attention but they are amazing to drive and they love to be pushed to their redline. It is not an engine for an every day commuter that just wants a point A to point B vehicle, it’s an engine for a driving enthusiast that will appreciate its quirk and give it the maintenance it needs.
@TheSilverShadow17
@TheSilverShadow17 Жыл бұрын
@@AstroNerd Another thing to point out is that the actual rotors inside the engine rotate at 1/3rd of the speed of the "crank" aka eccentric shaft, therefore if one of these were to operate at 10,000 rpm for example, the rotors themselves would rotate at less than 4,300 rpm to be precise.

thank you very much i just understood how the shaft and the rotor are revolving at different rpms while fitted to each other i realised that they are not mounted but just fitted to move the center of the rotor around the peripheral of the shaft only thank you very much
