did you remove the baseboard and carpet before the built in? I don't see a base platform so am curious how to make it sit flat to the back wall. Thanks

I had the same pipe work fitted with no insulation. I’m hearing noises under the floor boards when expanding or contracting and bangs. Did you run the pipe through the joists or secured it under?

How did you work out the measurement for bottom once ?😊
@reno_with_usАй бұрын
From the skirting board, make a mark at 15cm, then from the top panel, make a mark down at 15cm. That will give you the measurements for the bottom section Hope that makes sense

Love this video mate I have a nvq level 1 and 2 plastering I would give you some advice with the mix if you like it’s usally a bag per wall and that’s first coat then 2nd coat is always half of the what you put on in the first coat :) love your videos mate it’s really inspiring me and my fiancé just got a new house and I’m gonna skim it all, I am a plasterer but you gave me I inspiration to try other things 👌🏻

Hi, would removing the existing plasterboard and putting the new one instead work ? I have an Artex ceiling and thinking it might be easy to remove the Artexed damaged ceiling plasterboard and put new one instead !! Thanks
@reno_with_us2 ай бұрын
Hi, honestly that would be my last option due to a few reasons. If it’s an old lathe & plaster ceiling, the removal is a very messy job. Also by overboarding, you will have slightly better insulation and a much easier time.

can I ask why did you not use a copper pipes and soldering? Are these push fittings reliable? Are you not worried about the leaks under floor? I seen there are also push fittings for copper pipes, are they good? Thanks.
@reno_with_us2 ай бұрын
Hi, I have a more recent video of me using copper. I found that the push fit was much easier to install, and also perfectly fine to use if fitted correctly. If access is an issue, I would 100% use the speed fit. Thanks
@AndrisPrikna2 ай бұрын
@@reno_with_us, thank you. Access is a problem, need to do similar, move across the room the radiator, was just worrying about leaks. Will give it a go :)
