How have you screwed your timber to the plasterboard with no stud behind mate?

Our wall is solid brick so we can fix it anywhere if that’s what you mean?

Do you have a solid fixing to the floor and ceiling? That way you could support it vertically.

@ only the ceiling can be done in one place as the floor I have tiled flooring 😭

How do you find the sound of the TV? Would you say a soundbar is needed, looking to do the same myself but 50/50 on the soundbar situation

I did contemplate it myself, but to be honest it doesn’t drown out the noise at all. That being said, a soundbar or a surround sound system would add a lot. Hope that helps👍
