Wow, I never knew you could change the default launcher with accessibility settings now, that's great. I've been using ATV launcher on my Nvidia Shield TV boxes for years as all I want on my home page is an app launch grid, but I had to use ADB to do it, and I couldn't get it to work on my Google TV box as it broke Google services for some reason, I'm going to have to give it a try again now with the accessibility settings.

I need to test ATV as well. I've heard good things.

@@shanecraigtech It's quite nice if you want a very clean simple home screen, the way I have mine setup it's a 6 X 4 grid and every streaming service fits on the single screen, and the other apps I don't care about seeing all the time just get dumped into a more apps folder in that grid, otherwise the only other things on the screen are my wallpaper and the clock, date, and Bluetooth/internet connection status in the top right.

IMO, Samsung has completely lost their way and continues making mistakes.. we know that many in the West are unaware of Chinese devices and that Chinese devices can be easily imported and work on American networks as well as support Google apps. It's extremely concerning that Samsung claims they needed to remove the digitizer to make the Z fold SE only slightly thinner than the Zfold 6 while the honor magic V3 is only 4. 5 mm thick when open and contains a digitizer.. What happened to Samsung's Innovation and Design Department!? It's truly sad from my standpoint as I own all Samsung appliances as well as the s24 ultra earbuds watches, you name it! Unfortunately, I have no choice but to purchase outside of Samsung Google or Apple. Even the one plus open supports a stylus on the inner and outer screen.. the Oppo pen works on both the inner and outer display. Samsung claims they need to redesign the entire stylus screen tech. Most do not realize that Samsung has allowed honor to use Samsungs groundbreaking new JN 9 200 megapixel sensor in their magic 7 Pro, and Samsung will not use it in the s25 ultra. How has Samsung leadership allowed their own company to assist other companies to create far superior devices? Anyone who has seen the renders knows the s25. Ultra is also starting to morph into the design of an iPhone 11 with slightly less of a curve on the devices' corners. If Trends continue the s26 ultra, + and base models alomg with all Pixel slab devices will be indistinguishable from an iPhone 11 from the front! On top of that the s25 ultra will have old Battery Technology completely ignoring silicon carbon tach that's now stabilized and is far more dense and stable at higher charging speeds. Samsung is also providing users who buy the s25 ultra the same 200 megapixel sensor that the s24 ultra had and going to continue utilizing the ancient 10 megapixel 3x zoom sensor. The only censored changing is the ultra-wide, which will be a 50 MP. Your videos are great, and I truly enjoy watching them.. the truth is I can't wait for the OnePlus open 2!! It will, however, be highly visible to the Western consumers and will expose how far behind Samsung has fallen!! At this point, the US government has provided cover for Samsung Google and Apple by being heavily lobbied from The Big Three.. the OnePlus open 2 is truly the only device that will be released inside the United States this coming year that is exciting! It will be great to be able to charge wired at 60 to 80 W and wireless at 50 just as all of the other Chinese devices do. The 15 watts wireless Samsung Google and Apple provide are very stagnant. I understand 35 to 45 Watts wired may work just fine, but that is not how technology works, IMO.. Technology inherently should be pushing forward, and the main reason most people are truly intrigued is the advancement and the constant forward thought. Hopefully, there are others that remember the days when Apple, Samsung, and Google were pushing Innovation forward. It was exciting. It felt like Christmas the day before release people camped out the night begore thr release date doing everything they could to get their hands on one of the available devices.. I hear those claiming that the reason innovation has slowed down with Samsung Google and apple is because we've hit a plateau in technology. If that's the case, why are Samsung Google and apple the only companies that have hit that plateau?

It might be based on internal information we don't have access to. A few Chinese phones already support pens and are super thin. Samsung might see that not as many people use the s pen. The capacitive pen is already limited by it only working on one screen and not fitting inside like on the ultras. A Bluetooth pen that can fit on the back in a case with wireless charging could work. Or maybe the s pen pro is enough as is to cover the hardline users and they save money on the lack of that layer.

Fast forward now 10 months and Google Gemini is now working well as an overlay of Google Assistant. Fast with all the same functions and scenes. You can use Samsung Routines to program side buttons, but for some reason even though I had my volume down double tap to open Gemini, it would not work opening on the lock screen. Regestar with Goodlock did the trick, long press side key for Gemini. Good stuff. 😊

This is so tiring. It feels like samsung is going backwards, and all the upgrades they should be adding are being canned for gimmicks. Every year since the fold 4 ive found myself saying the same thing:"guess ill wait for the fold 5" and then in 2023 "guess ill wait for the fold 6" and in 2024 "guess ill wait for the fold 7" and its looking like ill be waiting for the fold 8 :/

I love my palma! I can stick it in my purse or my coat pocket. Also, sometimes I like to read 1000 page books, and with the Palma, I can do it with one hand. And it’s great for using Libby directly instead of sending library books to kindle and then having errors with them, which would always happen to me.

This is bonkers! The coolest thing about the Samsung Galaxy S Ultras and folds is the fact that it can carry a stylus that works without that technology. You know how annoying it is to have to charge all the things in the Apple Ecosystem? I agree with you Shane. They need to be using this money and R&D for better camera software.

I like my Surface laptop. I can't get it to print with my old laser jet printer, but I can't get my Apple M3 to work with my old printer either. (I did get it to print a test page, but after that it would only save to file rather than print. It initially recognized my printer, but I made the mistake of deleting it when it would not work, and now it won't even recognize it.) It is easier just to leave my beat-up old laptop hooked up to my printer until the printer wears out. I think it is unfair, as I've seen some do, to hurl insults at Microsoft and to call this sleek laptop a piece of junk. Hewlett Packard is not creating new drivers for the printer because it wants me to buy a new printer. It never realized the printer was going to last so long. It has been a great printer. Everything else works great on my Surface 7, and I got it at a great price.

This is a very good take. I’m a long term iPhone user that started into Galaxy devices then got stuck on iPhone for years. I’ve tried to switch back several time and while I love the Samsung devices, fold, and ultra but it never fully feels right. The longest I made was a week or more with a pixel 8 but still went back. For work I used my phone extensively and the past couple years I feel like I’ve gone from IOS that was excellent, to significantly more buggy. I also have gotten tired of the lack of polish or turning to more of these future promises like Apple intelligence. I find it more of a hindrance and things don’t work right somewhat often and I feel like it never happened before. I remember there was a video of Apple even being ask about AI and the representative laughed and speculation was they had AI that was going to be very good. I can say, it’s maybe useful, nothing special, still don’t have all the features. They were probably laughing because they didn’t have crap. Google is doing a good job simplifying the android experience. For me, I like the ability to change stuff but too much can be overwhelming. Apple makes a simplified experience that works for people that don’t do phones or computers. Easy gestures to memorize and you can’t get too far trying to screw up your phone. Google has tons of data on how people use their products so making decisions that reflect the way most people use them at least in their core functionality, I think is great. I’m a techie but I don’t want to accidentally split 3 screens on a fold and have no idea how to close anything or while it’s cool it’s too small to read anyway. I don’t want features that kinda work but you need to figure out how to use it, I just want it to work. If it doesn’t, then don’t include it or give it a button in a menu for people that care.
