I took 5 of my cards and stacked them next to my OnePlus Open. The stack is thinner by about 1 card (adding a 6th card makes the stack equal to the OPO). So it's not a huge difference when opened but will definitely be noticeable when closed. I doubt it will be shockingly thinner than the Honor V3, no more than

If it's actually 5 Chinese Id cards, then it'd be ~9mm when folded each Chinese Id card is about 0.8mm thick

Instead of looking at coins or ID cards, you could look at the USB-C port that's visible on the device on the table. USB-C is a standard port size.

I think the best indicator is the type C port that can be seen. Female type c openings are 2.6 mm if I'm not mistaken. I can see barely a fraction of metal either side of the port. In addition 5 credit/id cards is 3.8mm.. This thing is as thin as an anorexic supermodel.

It looks basically as thin as the metal body of the Open already is, just without the added thickness of the plastic bezel around the main screen.

It's possible that the proto device in that image is the Find N5 and will have a different camera layout than the OPO 2. Maybe it's the only hardware difference?

I really don't care about the thinness I care about the battery's capacity and lifespan, thinness is usually the exact opposite of that. And the cooling of the battery asks for space... 😢

Honestly I feel like the ship has sailed for any phone company catering to the power user. It's just not a thing anymore. I will say OnePlus and other Chinese OEMs come close with their incredibly fast charging speeds, I'm willing to not have a super huge battery if I can charge it in a half hour or less

Would you opt for a foldable with a bigger Silicon Carbon battery (slightly thicker) or choose "as thin as possible"? My big issue with the quest for thinness is that mobile camera tech currently requires space (see Pixel 9 Fold's "compromise") and I wouldn't want to further compromise on photo quality.

Also i think, the next upcoming year the chinese will be preparing a better battery technology, able to retain energy in a micro space, therefore we are entering in a nuclear energy territory; that's fantastic. If one plus delivers what they are promising and then they caliber the software at the same level as One Ui, Oh my God! Hardware and software in harmony, inlimited battery 🔋. That's indeed the future.

I personally think the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is as thin as I need, gets kind of awkward to grab the tiny edges to open the phone. I would prefer a larger battery
