Thank you! Lovely shiny example on top in your candy dish. Must be wonderful to find these locally? I've hoped to find amber and.jet in a kelp whorl but I'm not near the ocean so have to buy jet when I come accross it. I solumly agree Whitby is the best! Lately I'm using boiled linseed to make it shiny. That and baby oil work well to clean jet.the boiled linseed may have.lead im it so be careful! Chamois and red rouge also help. Thanks! Bye!😅

I've watched your vidio before. I'm sure I quite enjoyed it. This time I admired one particular very glasslike piece you put on top of the pile in your candy dish. It was almost like obsidian. That must have been a wonderful discovery for you. I'm guessing your somewhere near Whitby, or Yorshire? Maybe Dover? At any rate your very blessed to be able to beach comb for jet. I live inland from the coast and presently do not drive, so I am envious of anyone able to travel to the coast and search for jet or amber amidst the kelp. I ve heard that boiled linseed and lampblack are used to liberate the full shine to a piece of real jet. Im having trouble right now just finding boiled linseed oil. I hope to polish some jet I found at a book store. I'm sure you have a very much more high quality piece of jet than I; but I will still continue my vapid search for the ultimate glassy piece of jet. Thank you for your beautiful vidio. You might sell your vidio to a Tourist bureau for your area and deprive funds from your passion for jet? Hope your able to find a huge chunk or open seam that is legal to pick! Bye for now.😅

It's not 'thousands of years old' - a ridiculous statement. Earliest known reference to the song is 14th December 1624 when a ballad called 'Sir John Barleycorne' was registered with the London Stationer's Company. The original very long ballad was completely re-written in the 1700's - in effect creating a new song. As heard in the video.

Absolutely you could! 😃 the placement is only really about comfort do what works for you, the hole size will define the notes so start small and tweak as you go till you get it the way you want, a guitar tuning app is great for this 👍 my little finger should not really work and does silly things it makes instruments difficult sometimes but where there’s a will there’s a way, give it a go plus custom instruments are epic especially when you make it yourself.

Make sure it doesn’t touch the clay underneath. Hope that helps, Tiny hand gang for the win! 😁

Ooooh, they are pretty great!!! The one catched me straight is the fishing dwarf! Superb! And these shiny ball-shaped bottles again and again! These forestry sceneries, go on with them! Also all the leaves and plants are great in dimensions, you can touch them, but slightly a bit too stiff, like a dead plastic. They earn you spend them some life, as nature is. And YOU can do that easily! These birds are amazing, great, but same: make them fly, open the window and give them life! Poor things, have to stay in that book all day long! 🧶We can‘t discover any great lack of tension in the warp (as far resolution allows to detect. If you still miss tension in single parts of threads after adding a coil rod, you can try to add some additional thin sticks (same like the pattern sticks you may discover in some loom settings!) Best these are thinner than the coil rod! The thinner they are the more accurate you can tune the tension for this single threads. Insert these sticks into the warp between warp beam and coil rod. Same like the insertion of the coil rod you wind these single too loose around this stick. If needed you can wind this thread that many time around the stick until tension is satisfying. Just add threads on this stick, that are lacking tension. But first coil rod! 👌

@Loom.Design
@Loom.Design Жыл бұрын
@@bonny8427 No not really popsicle sticks, no rectangular. Better something similar a BBQ stick, what means at least 3 mm in diameter and round! Watch out for some videos of backstrap weavers in Sumatra, to get an idea what a pattern stick is about. In general made by a round-carved split out of a bamboo cane! In this case here you can use your knitting needle for example!

Later on you may try to exchange the warp beam with a rectangular board. You may experience that this offers effects on warp tension just by moving your toes. Your loom and you will met together! Similar like „Reaching Amisoka“ or „shelfBoard“!

@@bonny8427 Hi Bonny! No worry, you can add the coil still now into the already prepared warp, that you have on the loom. No need to take it of! You don‘t have to wait for later on coming warps!
