I'm a bit unhappy with croched mittens because they are not as warm as knitted ones as there are usually bigger gaps. And they get very stiff if you want to make them tighter. So far I havn't found a pattern that makes good mittens. Maybe this is the one :D
@TinnaThorudottirThorvaldar7 сағат бұрын
These are not stiff but still almost no gaps because it’s mosaic crochet, which makes the fabric almost double 😉 hope you at least give them a go and try them out ❤️

I have been crocheting and crafting for 40 years now. Have been afraid of even trying this technique. That is until I just watched you explain these first 3 rows. My goal is to make myself something for a change. And it is hopefully going to be an afghan like yours. You are an true inspiration and wonderful teacher. Thank you for having such love for this craft enough to share it. And for showing us all how simple 3 stitches can make truly beautiful items like yours. I am looking forward to my next yarn purchase already. Lol😊 I just need to find names of all the different designs on your afghan. Because i noticed the Apaches Tears but also few others on there also. Thank you again so very much. ❤❤❤

I decided today to try Mosaic crochet. I found a few tutorials which ended up making me feel too dumb to learn.THEN I found you! Thanks so much, I have just finished my swatch and it looks exactly like yours. Great teaching skills! Looking forward to more of your tutorials and of course I have subscribed!

Thank you so much Tinna - I thought I couldn’t crochet!! Well, strangely enough my Icelandic Sister in Law, Bryndis taught me about 40 years ago how to make the traditional Scandinavian lace shelf edging but I had forgotten everything 🤦🏼♀️ So, when I found your videos I knew that you had to be the one to remind me ☺️ I learnt such a lot in one evening and now I’m subscribed xx

Wow!! What a crazy coincidence that it’s always us Icelanders teaching you how to crochet!! Ahaha there are so few of us you see! 😉😂❤️ great to hear the video helped, now go forth and conquer my friend 😉😘

Oh my goodness. I joined a mosaic group in Facebook. Never done this before and absolutely love all that I seen . When I asked about where and how to start, another recommended you and shared this link to me. 1- You are wonderful. 2- You make it so easy to follow. TY for that. Beyond all that, 3- this is epic: I cannot express enough how happy I am right now or what a huge surprise it was to me that you started with the Apache Tears pattern. I have wanted that pattern and to try that pattern for a LONG time and just have never really found a printed 1 that made enough sense to me to do (or attempt to do) I can't believe I JUST learned it. Ahhh I'm so excited TY TY TY 🎉
