As a Canadian frequent traveler to Cuba over the years I’ve been lucky to meet some great Americans also on vacation…well before 2016. Their secret? Catching a flight into Canada, purchasing their Cuba trip through a Canadian travel agent with return flight back into Canada before heading back home to the USA.

I bought one today at a Shaw's in Beverly, MA and am here after Googling it. It's SUPER good--satisfyingly crunchy, not too sweet, and allergy-friendly (I can't do nuts or peanuts). And, unlike many other things these days, not too expensive.

As an American, I love coffee crisp. Those not exposed to coffee crisp don't know how good it is, nor what it is. If it failed it was probably because it was promoted.

Absolutely hilarious when Canadian conspiracy theorists start spouting off about "first amendment rights" as well. For a bunch of know-it-alls, they apparently know nothing about the country they actually live in.

It can be strange but you are in a forwign land. Don't forget it. At least it is not traumatizing like seeing nudist in the West and women exposed their breasts to the whole world in the new fashion.

Why so complicated? I don't mean this video, I mean the OAS/CPP system? Also, why is it called a withholding tax, which to me implies you could file to get it returned. It is a tax plain and simple, never returned, no? And this guy you interviewed is vague. If you reside outside of Canada and there is a tax treaty in that country, you could reduce that 25% tax. Why *maybe*, sort of kind of, possibly? I want the simple rules!

This is a bad interview. This lady have zero cultural sense in this country. She called the men attire “pajamas” lady FYI THATS NOT PAJAMA ITS CALLED QAMES/ thob! That’s Middle East men’s attire. Learned the culture before first you give your two cent next time.

They actually did have it here today, so I just had one. . Umm.. #1.. yes, it's good.. but #2.. It's basically just like those vanilla/strawberry/chocolate wafer cookies with the creme in the middle, Quadratini, but with coffee flavored chocolate creme, and a coffee flavored chocolate covering it all. Virtually identical. So yeah, good.. but literally nothing new about it. It's just one of those wafer cookies everyone in the states has had a biillion times.

Kind of a random selection. Can I throw in one that might be more useful to people? In the USA, despite what the cop who pulled you over demands, unless you're being charged with a crime, you technically do not have to identify yourself or provide ID. In Canada, you absolutely do, even if the "vehicle" you're "operating" is a bicycle. Show them who you are, be polite and respectful, and assuming that unconscious body you have in the trunk doesn't wake up at an awkward moment, you should be just fine. Canadian cops are generally just checking to see if there IS a problem, rather than looking to create a problem.

Watching her first video and now this - her accent def got Scottish-fied. So sweet! Hubs (Scottish) and I (Canadian) want to come over and give it a go. Trying to get as much info as possible to be as prepared as possible. The fact in the past video she said SAVE UP MORE THAN YOU NEED. and Yet she still says SAVE MORE....good advice for us. Need to put the pressure on savings. I've been on the facebook ground Canadians in Scotland and it def gives a LOT of information

Interesting she mentioned she was surprised by the rain being from Vancouver haha. I'm from Toronto and I've always thought of Vancouver as super rainy and sunny breaks haha! Thanks for the moving advice. I have a chronic illness and a friend who did the youth visa went over and said take ALL prescriptions and as much supplies as you can fit in your case. My hubs and I are looking to go over. He's from Glasgow and I'm from Toronto. The savings in general, seems to keep climbing as we have our fees for the visa process and flights, now it's saving up some cash for rent and house stuff. Curious if you did a furnished home or unfurnished. We started making a list and we were like the amount keeps going up! We are lucky we'd have his dad and auntie there to help at least house us while we get work.

I read that the RCAF sent atea. In 2006, about then. The team won 6 of the 12 trophies in the competition. They also had one pilot win another trophy for the top gun in the competition. That team replaced the Agressors in the war games in Alberta the following year, play the part of the Russians against the rest of the Nato teams. That was in the newspaper. paper

What if you are registered for gst in Canada but living and working in the US for yrs as a self employed and only income from Canada in last couple of yrs is a virtual meditation to a Canadian corporate company, do you have to still charge hst? Got a t4A NR. All other income is from the US. Where I recide as a resident alien. Was considered a factual resident for many yrs and claimed world income in both countries, but got married to a US citizen in 2023 and plan to exit Canada now and only keep a bank account and credit card, passport, and this small income of aprox 6,000 from Canada done virtually. Do not own any assets in Canada and no investments. Worldwide gross income is over the 30,000 small supplier limit. Want to close the gst account but not sure if I can. Please answer, it’s so confusing and this video says if it’s done virtually thru zoom from US to Canada you wouldn’t need to charge hst. Is this info still up to date?

I just got my Coffee Crisp down here in Kansas City Mo. 20 minutes ago from Amazon.I learned to love these in the mid seventies when I lived in a place called Port Angeles Washington 18 miles south of Victoria BC. Just a little over an hour boat ride on the FV COHO up to Victoria, for some some beautiful women, awesome beer and coffee crisp. I never got busted by Customs cause they never asked if I was secreting candy bars! LOL. Thanks to our great friends in the wonderland called CANADA.

Lovely video. It would be even nicer if you could ask more specific questions to your guests. For example, when she said that healthcare is very expensive in Geneva, the logical next question was “How much does health insurance cost in Geneva?”. All in all, it was a bit shallow, I’m afraid. Thank you anyway.

How do people deal with the summer heat? I've looked at Oman and the GCC region more broadly but just can't get over how hot it gets during the summer months. Is everyone basically just sitting indoors the whole time?

I arrived in June 1995 at midnight. The BA crew had elected a 'rookie' steward to release the cabin door. All we head was "bl***y Hell!" what is this place?! At that time the country was closed to foreigners unless permitted. This has changed. It is a fascinating place, the Omanis are extremely courteous and friendly, and fascinated to meet people from other countries but you must respect their way of life.
@itsmuath53794 ай бұрын
We try to stay indoor either at home, office or cars. However, Oman is much better than the other gulf countries during the summer specially in Salalah, mountains, or even Muscat (from afternoon and above)

How much does it cost to apply naturalization?
@面堂終太郎5 ай бұрын
It is 100% free. However, you might have to pay for translations if you can't (or don't want to) do it yourself, fees from your home country for obtaining paperwork from your home country, and possibly pay for a legal scrivener to help you complete the paperwork. Note that you don't NEED a legal scrivener to do your paperwork. But you can hire one if you don't want to fill some of the forms yourself.
