I just finished the SAR mountain rescue technician level class in Western North Carolina. Weight and space in your pack means a lot. One thing I did see in your set up, was the unused space in your pot. You can put nontoxic things in there that won't be taking up space elsewhere. I took a large pill bottle, cut a slit in the top and put about 30 foot of flagging tap in it. Duck tap on the outside of it,, with a bunch of rubber bands around it too. The stuff sacks are nice and make everything look organized, but I learned that things like the light tarp and sleeping bag take up less room if just stuffed in the bottom of the pack. We had to pack in or wear our harness, along with all the hardware and ropes that we might need in a mountain rescue. I'm a volunteer fire fighter, and have been for over 25 years. I learn something new all the time. Would love to see your country sometime.

One of many examples. Between the "native americans" and the federal authorities, they'll try their best to have you murdered. The official story will always be that you were some kushtaka possessed madman. Nobody will ever be the wiser. RCMP are heroes, legends and will never be known for their common behavior.

I think the Natives were full of BULLSHIT with their BULLSHIT story. They just didn't want him around... Very suspicious... A man who just wanted to be left alone would not be tampering with someone else's trap lines. Give me a break..

Troy would you be able to let your floor on the addition to be higher than your main cabin so you could rest your floor on that rock which is imp. to move , or maybe you could move your floor down from the corner to get away from the rock and it would be easier to square up the addition floor , see you again on days off , take care , God Bless

Not sure if you have one but to get that rock out maybe a hammer drill with a good chisel on it. Way better then hammer if you do. Goodluck!

Another great one there my buddy , if hard work and determination is what will be needed to get that rock out of it you got that. Have a safe trip at work and looking forward to your rock removal.
