Please get Monoxide and smoke detectors! You had headaches, and candles going on at the same time- I was worried you were monoxiding yourself! Lukie is wonderful- I'll bet your coat would've kept him warmer if you'd wrapped it on him! Shame everything didn't go well, maybe that's a sign next time will be better!

Definitely recommend a better quality drill sir. Those black and deckers ain't what they used to be lol. DeWalt Milwaukee ridgid or Ryobi will be alot better options I'm on 3rd year ice fishing with my Ryobi/clam plate setup with no issues using a 6inch and 8inch auger.

Ice fishing is tough. Wouldn't count on it for my dinner. Think you may need to change to a different stove. Don't think that kind work that well when it's that cold.

Nice ice shack. And those butane stoves are useless in the cold even in the fall chilly weather. I found that out the hard way. You got to keep the gas warm I seen a few videos on modifying them so the heat from the stove warms the can.

Butane stoves dont work well in cold temps. Thats prob why your having a issue with it. If you get the buddy heater you can get a paint tray that goes in a 5 gallon bucket and use that to also cook on. Or you can get the buddy flex system, but with the flex, you cant cook and use the heater

You just may need an anchor and running lights 😬😬😬😬 I’m thinking that the stove doesn’t work, because the gas is too cold. You need low temp gas. I think Coleman makes some.
