Upgrading to larger brakes is essential on a cheaper bike the extra weight and speed makes it essential. I got a Kirby 3000 watt e biker kit needed some extra tools to finish the installing the kit and was cycling with no back break and ended up crashing and breaking my leg. Lol so make sure when you're doing a speed test to have at least two brakes and definitely consider upgrading them to larger discs.. also definitely stay away from BMWs the people that tend drive them are brain dead.

How long does the battery last though?

Does adding all that extra weight exceed the weight limit of the frame. Because bikes come with a max rider weight. Also the headsets bearings are taking the extra load of the weight when braking. Is this bike safe ?.

I got a Bafang BBSO2 stock 44T. It started to overheat going up a long hill cog 11/44, so I swapped it for a 38T. It seems much better without ghost-pedaling. Would a 28T make a better choice, given that our roads are hilly?
