I love the channel, I love the way you present the channel. But what is the point of a bike past 250w, all it will do is help me get points on my lisence. Any chance u can make a bike that runs in road legal mode and has a super duper button that puts it in off-road speedy mode?
@DudeStuffКүн бұрын
Thank you very much. You just described 90% of the bikes I review on my channel 😊 a lot of ebikes are capable of over 250w once unlocked but enter the market limited by the controller its very unlikely you'll get issues if you're sensible

I suffer with autism aged 49 and struggle with instructions I over complicated everything. I'm 5ft 5 what size frame would I need, and is it difficult to build a bike as I am looming for a 1000w 48v that will take me 15 miles to my mums as we both don't have a car she's aged 70 and walking is painful. I don't work due to my disability but spending £1700 on a bike is alot. If I can build this cheaper then I will save money. Please let me know

Go to a bike shop sit on a few see what frame size feels comfortable, that's free. If you like legal get a 250w ebike.

Only 48 volt, 12.5 AH non- removable battery? No thanks. If they made some improvements on the bike then yeah maybe. Also I heard customer service is terrible.

Ever thought of repairing or building batteries? I've made so many now. Repairs are usually quite easy too.
@a_LaLi_LuLe_Lo3 күн бұрын
If it’s possible I’d limit the torque to the front hub because all that wheel spin is wasted power like a 600whp civic spinning tires on rev limit. Something like a 40/60 bias should be good or even 50/50 for pretty solid consistent launches. I don’t know how complex the controller can be programmed but if it can be adaptable you could set a range of low torque at launch with a gradual increase as the powerband levels out. I definitely wanna convert my rwd to awd but this is an important issue to overcome. You really should get some gear. Over 30mph you’ll still shred skin and break bones when you fall. Even just a lightweight breathable aramid armor jacket and some joint and hand protection is enough for the hotter weather.

Steve question I have one of these kits with one of these kt controllers which come with the kit do you know if I was to get a programmable controller is it possible to make the bike give me a constant 2000 watts or even push the Hub motor even passed 2000 watts cos I have seen in some of your future videos that you push 2800 Watts Max out of one of these 2000 watt kits

@@DudeStuff do you know of programmable controllers that are compatible with the Kirby kit
@DudeStuff3 күн бұрын
The standard controllers are 40a you're not going to be able to put much more through the standard kit without causing issues and affecting reliability or longevity. Maybe 60 to 80a controller but you could cause damage to many things. The motor phase cables might melt. The bms might blow, the battery might struggle to pull thar current, the battery fuse might blow
