Yeah, there is relevant dysfunction, concerning this. Usually ends up with some sort of conflict. It's a miracle it hasn't resulted in any criminal charges, for me or someone else. I have ADHD, slight anger issues, possibly Autism traits, and relevant experience wrestling and doing 6 years, of military service. I'm usually very polite, and agreeable, which is my social mask. To keep the peace, and smooth social interactions. People think I'm extrovert, but I actually have social anxiety, tied to multiple traumatic levels of adrenaline/noradrenaline dumps, tied to stressful/threatening/violence/abuse/shame/devaluations/mockery etc, and they say I'm HSP and just recently they talked about me having GAD, like grandma did, which usually emboldens cluster B individuals and the Dark Triad. This leads to conflicts and confusion. Because some people follow the narcissistic/psychopathic value/ranking/dominance system, and they get the wrong idea. And some of them, don't listen, the worst ones, are the ones who rationalize. Or rewrite what was said, into another scenario, good for them, bad for me/others, ignoring my wishes/boundaries/lacking in empathy of me/others. Or the ones with selective memories. Because I'm literally thinking about worst-case scenarios and how much physical force I might have to use instead when the lowest level of force (Talking/logic/Arguments/reasoning) fails. I'm nervous about embarrassment/shame. Not violence/fighting/conflicts. I like shutting my brain off and solving things with violence. It's just rarely allowed/legal and falls under the stairs of violence and minimal, defendable levels of force. I'm also scared I'll fail at that, some day. Because I have a perfectionist streak.. :)

I'm also noticing, the same pattern I see in most psychiatry. That we aren't solving the actual issue, changing the problematic people. Who doesn't listen. They utilize negative whole-object relations, for their analysis of people/me being nice/kind. Since those people always get angry, if I use force/violence/hurt them with the truth/do whatever I want/ignore social norms/shut off my empathy and consideration for them. They will argue that's also an issue. It's pure manipulation. If they get you to change into being/acting exactly how they want. They will argue that is also an issue. I tried all the positioning/roles I could think of, experimenting over the years. My conclusion is that we are solving the wrong problem.

Yeah, but those fucking Narcs/psychos indoctrinated into "Whole-object-relations-thinking" people, they will find an issue with/rewrite you being honest about how you feel, into an issue, as well. Or they will demand honesty and respond with ZERO empathy, care, or interest and find issues with that too. I don't think this is a "Me" issue.

A good way to make friends is to volunteer for a cause you really care about like an animal shelter...other people there care about the same thing and volunteers know how to love and give...really good people...easy to talk to people when you care about the same thing ❤

Hi Amelia. We are with you. United in the conviction to rewrite all the ways in which we were wronged by those who were supposed to love us and give us a sense of belonging. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It is healing to know. It is healing for us to stand in the truth and reclaim joy in our lives. Sending you light and love ❤️

What do you do when you can’t remember something that may have happened to you? I feel like something did happen, but I just can’t put the pieces together. I’m the same way. I can identify. I know that I am diff.

You are uploading videos exactly when i need them. It doesnt mean im going to listen. 😔 Ive been journaling. Whew. I cant stop crying, take the blame, then i mess up and reach back out to him. He already broke it off with me but man Im falling for it. Hes slowly discarding me after dumping me and Im just accepting anything he has left for me. We made it a year and a 1/2.And I thought maybe I was doing better After leaving a relationship of ten years where the police told us we had to leave because he had plans for us. And then today a family member had to show me the that my ex's new wife from the philippines is saying horrible things about me on her facebook. Why do they eves drop and tell me? She's the one living off of the money that he stole from me and talking about how I had no business with him because I didn't have enough money to keep up with the lifestyle. Wow! When it rains it pours, eh? Mybroomates & I had originally tried to find resources incase she needed to escape. I have one in mind. But she thinks im the enemy. That girl has no idea what she has landed herself into.

The narcissistic person kept finding me and I didn’t know what that was. So I kept trying to be good enough and never was. But I didn’t know I never could be or that anyone would be different. I’m autistic and I wish people would teach others about manipulators

I went through something very similar with an ex I'll call Marc. He jeeked me around a bunch, ditched me on a trip to go meet his sister...and then called me yeats later, in the middle of the night, to cry about missing me?? A person like that can't do "stable" imo.

Please keep posting your Ed-ios - what I call educational videos,as they have truly helped me and I know so, so many people. People that Bully and spew their Toxic comments will always be around But they don’t deserve our Airtime or Energy. Honestly it can still hurt But I do hope you keep on as I find you knowledgeable, compassionate and yes believable; not just swayed to trust anyone or to go with what’s popular & trending Just know You’re Really Helping People !!! And you’ve already survived your own stuff--makes you believable ***Yes. I definitely am more receptive to listening to you than someone who’s only learned from a textbook as there’s no way they can “get it”….. Your Effectiveness and Authenticity is no doubt Intimidating to Bullies. And I Thank God for finding this channel and seems to be Your gift & God given Purpose but you may not even realize that Idk. Oh I’m not concerned about Cancel crud either. Please. Only the Truth, getting stronger and then Passing it on to help someone else. Thank you !!! God bless you❤

She sounds painfully codependent. It's never a good idea to get/stay involved with someone who you see/believe/think they need fixing. It's usually a way of avoiding your own work. Although there's probably more to it than that. Like familiarity of the chaos. Repetition compulsion, trying to get love from someone who can't give it. There is no reciprocity here. He's doing nothing but taking and she's gonna exhaust herself trying to give with nothing in return and trying to 'fix' someone else. It's not your job to fix others. Find someone you don't need to fix but first focus on and 'fix' yourself. Codependency recovery is life long work. Self-awareness is difficult as it is, even more so when you're busy trying to fix someone else. Eventually the desperation to make it work with toxic, will go away and resentment will take its place. It's a good idea to not even get into a situation like this. But if you do, make sure you never get to a point that you can't leave right away. Because when the relationshit 'runs its course,' you'll want to leave pretty much immediately. And trying to think clearly to make a plan if you don't have your own finances/income, is beyond difficult.

You really point it out ❤ I have chosen solitude over relationships. And weird health struggles. Recently diagnosed ADHD (and very high IQ...).. I joined Mensa and finally I'm a part of something on the basis of being *me*, not what I do for a job or other roles. Me. It's completely new at 47 yo and finding your channel gives me more hope. Just started the daily practice today and it opened something up.. ❤ Thank you!

A lot of people don't notice anger in people pleasers. Instead they feel insecure because they are the angry ones and they don't feel good about themselves because they are mean individuals. When a nice person comes around, it makes them look at themselves and see how bad and wrong they are.

Your reaction to your own past shoplifting habit shows what an amazing, conscientious person you are! Most people wouldn’t feel so guilty about that. My new maintenance man is a serious people pleaser, total mess. Couldn't fix a wet paper sack, inept. He was more concerned about pleasing me than doing his actual job which if he had done that would've pleased me. Left me without heat for 3 days, I still have leaks under my sink and he ruined the finish of my bathtub. The way I explained him to my friend was that if he was a dog and I threw a ball out the window, 10 stories up, he would jump out after it.

You know what’s real manipulation accepting nice behaviors gifts, acts of severance & kindness knowing you don’t love them you bread crumb & put 0 effort back. Find someone that values you period I know it’s trauma but I think real messed up people someone that over takes… and manipulates that person years oh you actually want something back finally well you’re manipulating. Really you took all that kindness with minimal effort but I manipulate lol 😂
