I enjoyed listening to the Rick Lamb show with Holly George Warren, learning more about Gene Autry. He was my favorite cowboy. WOW? I'm 74 and I remember watching Gene on TV.

For crying out loud. You have GOT to be kidding. I looked at Beery's website. Torture devices for the lazy and not very smart. Your promotion of these methods tells me a lot about you, Mr. Lamb.

vaqueros first spsnish style dont forget dragones de la cuera , all the vaquero culture came from spain , neither france nor england
@jaypay89543 ай бұрын
Vaquero culture did NOT come from spain. Spain brough their horses and cattle the vaquero is purely Mexican invention/innovation,dont get the two confused. Vaquero is a major part of Mexican culture becasue its origin is Mexican.

In the 50s.and 60s I was obsessed with 100s of cowboys, their movies, comic books etc. My favourites were Roy Rogers "king of the cowboys", his wife Dale Evans "queen of the West", Gene Autry, Rex Allen, Red Ryder, Lone Ranger, Tex Ritter, Monte Hale, Allen Rocky Lane, Lash Larue "king of the bullwip", Ken Menard , Tonto, Gabby Hayes, Tom Mix, and so many more!!

It irks me that he died a couple weeks before the turn of the century. After all he did for this country it would have been nice to have him see the dawn of a new and first century as a country. If his doctors hadn't done so much blood letting it is possible, he may have survived. But he lost such massive amounts of blood it weakened him to much.
