These don't have the laminated maple/walnut through neck. I still dont know how you can claim to do a fret level without a notched straight edge or a sanding beam.

How do you do a fret level without a notched straight edge? Almost all Fibsons need a new good nut the bridge replaced to play in tune. The Firefly version of the double cut special is the value-for-money buy in this case.

the truth is that it's about a good or bad as any other guitar within the same price range. There really is no magic to an cheap knockoff that tries to look like something it just isn't. chibsons largely attract day dreamers

I would absolutely put a decent quality roller bridge on that. It is pretty. I can't see buying one though. I would rather by classic vibe mustang or put the 300 bucks towards a Fender or a used Gibson. I have noticed a lot of real gibson guitars popping up used for well under a grand. Even les pauls. I saw 2 les paul classics go last week in very nice shape. one for a grand with case and one for 9oo without. I'm not a gear snob. I would just rahter not spend 3 or 400 hundred bucks upgrading pick ups, electronics and hardware.

You said this was Gibson quality but then talked about the frets not being seated properly. Obviously, this is a poly finish and don't real Firebirds have banjo tuners and a different shaped headstock? Is it more like Epiphone China quality? The body is probably 6 pieces of basswood glued together and there was the paint smeared onto the nut. I find it hard to believe that a Chinese guitar for $260 is the same quality as a Gibson but I only have 2 Gibsons, a 73' SG deluxe and an 80' 335-S but I have played a bunch of them through the 45 years I have been playing.

The thing you have to keep in mind about Gibson, is that they are a high volume manufacturer, not a boutique guitar like many people think. Over 1000 a day are produced at times. They use different tuners, fake woods, multiple piece and laminated bodies at times.

Gibson has made reverse FB with normal 6 on a side tuners. Banjo tuners suck and are neckbreakers

@@skullheadwater9839 Now days, only custom shops get the 1 piece bodies. The Gibson logo is the reason their lowest priced guitar is $1500. If it had any other logo on it, that $1500 guitar would be $300.

why do the strings on the tailpiece go through the top? the strings must pass through the holes directly or from below overall, of course a cool guitar and an interesting video I love it when guitars are customized and they are tuned up and put in order I don’t know how google translated it correctly or not since I don’t know English well
