Manual trans are superior, cheaper to rebuild, less moving parts, better control over rpms, better mpg in some cases if you work on a farm or ranch and cant drive a old mack truck manual then you shouldnt be there

Lovely looking horses. Morgan characteristics? Good tempered, well built strong. Larger though.

We w o u l d N O T want the tags strength to be stronger then the animals ear, as I personally (and I believe I speak for many) would much rather the tag break off and fall then the 🐄's ear!!

Just watched your segment on pfr. Grew up on a farm at clair sask. Am retired in slave lake alberta now but always been interested in crafts and local art and artists. Lots of great stuff on pfr. Great work and best of luck with it. We do miss the farm and small town sask.

Because of a poor ability for internet across canada, people there spend more time working and thinking of ways to improve their lives. I am a old man in alaska, and have nothing better to do with time aside waiting to pass on from another heart attack or other habits that shorten life. I have seen so many canadians who have invented or at least improved on old ideas made better. I hope this idea has taken off and been used as I honestly think its a grand plan. I worked as a heavy duty equipment mechanic/fabricator and so know good things when seen. So did it become a saleable tool/piece of equipment or not?

Good for you. I'm a 5th generation dairy farmer. All my tractors and machinery are old or antiques. It's better quality and I can fix most of it myself. I'm getting a JD B tomorrow for $400. Seized engine and no back tires. It'll be one more project to get to this winter. Doing a head gasket job on grandpa's 1949 ford 8n, then going to do a head gasket on my 1977 ford 3000 before I get to the B. Many other things need to be fixed &/or built first.

Pretty useless for horizontal topping of branches or tree tops. Can't cut from the underside so you are guaranteed to leave a nasty tear-out on larger limbs. Not convincing me that it cuts faster than a typical gas chainsaw which runs 3x faster. I'll give it a 4 out of 10.

I have recently came across one of these. I used a little bit but only on the 110 v im wondering how to hook it up to 220 . The online manual isn't very helpful. At first I thought it would be a matter of 110 and 110 to get the 220 but the manual makes me think i might need a transformer. Any one know for sure?

Hard to believe this thing was only 15K to build. Professional pool builders who make significantly smaller pools will typically charge 40, 50, and sometimes over 75K for their work. That being said, the maintenance and cleanup for this thing will be quite a chore. Especially since nearby animals might end up wandering in.

Simply love the Detroit Diesel Engines. They sound like no other Diesel engine. They sound like they rev as high as a Gas Engine what makes them really unique. Also love that you can run them clockwise and counter clockwise. At least I heard that once somewhere. Dont know if its true.

The addition of an Engine with far more Power and Spunk really woke that 99 up and put it at the Head of the Class. That’s fine if the Drive Train is strong enough to handle it. I watched one example of a Gentleman that put a Cat 3512 V12 in a John Deere Four Wheel Drive Tractor. That is pushing One’s luck. Fergieman
