You need to look into making these true RC units with real hydraulics and electric motors. The cost has really dropped on that stuff in the last couple years. The complete hydraulic system is less than $200 from Ali Express and now there's tons of RC components on the market that are actually affordable. Not at all like it was just a couple years ago.

I would like to buy a smaller scale heavy duty 6' disc that you can pull with a Kubota Bx2680 or John deere 1025 and hydraulics to lift and lower the wheels.
@gilwilliams90363 жыл бұрын
Heck half the stuff John Deere has ever sold was someone else's design and manufacturer and they buy it and put their name on it

And tried suing Kense Manufacturer for copyright infringement. Backfired, they lost and found out they infringed on other companies.

Why bother getting approval from John Deere just not worth the hassle ...
@robertpayne27173 жыл бұрын
The two cylinder John Deere tractor engine was not a hit and miss engine the only hit and miss engine associated with John Deere was the One cylinder Waterloo Boy engine built in Waterloo Iowa in the early 1900's

What's sad here is this guy needed John Deere's APPROVAL and had to go through an f'ing LICENSING CONTRACT!!!!!! FOR AN F'ING HANDMADE MODEL!!!! Someone, make this make sense!!! ATTENTION JOHN DEERE. Your brand is not even close to being special enough to warrant cracking down on old men that love the brand so much that they want nothing more than to spend hundreds or even thousands of hours bleeding, sweating, researching every nut & bolt to put it on a shelf and tell everyone with great pride that they built that with their own 2 hands. And here's john deere to bust a guys balls and act like they are somehow entitled to have ownership or some kind of say about this man's property all the way from the materials to the man hours spent building this thing all just because it is JOHN DEERE green and yellow and has JOHN DEERE decals?? If John Deere thinks that this kinda behavior along with having earned themselves the title of having the most disgusting business practices in ALL OF MANUFACTURING by treating their customers as if they're not worthy of owning the equipment that they paid hard earned money for and then to top it off they decided that their customers weren't paying enough for their overpriced junk and have locked them into only being allowed to buy overpriced off the shelf parts that are marked up 200-300% all because it's marked with JOHN DEERE decals and stamps. John Deere has become their own worst enemy. There have been so many businesses throughout history that believed that their customers were so loyal that they could literally steal from them every chance they got and now are lucky to be selling their Chinese made junk to toddlers at Walmart. Good bye John Deere.
