I remember playing the Xbox 360 for the first time at Walmart in 06. Madden 06 was the playable demo, and I was greatly disappointed with this game.

If EA didn’t buy the license imagine what an NFL 2K6 would’ve been like.

OG Nemesis will always hold a special place in my heart. It was the first resident evil game I played. Nemesis was just a menace ,and had my anxiety up everytime I played

Madden NFL 08 is GOAT-tier, especially on the sixth gen! (I own it on PS2 and OG XBOX)

You can call hot routes. You have to cycle to the player, hit Y then LS. Pretty cumbersome though.

I remember being an absolute brat when I was begging my parents to get this game for me, and they finally broke down and got it for me just because it was 20 dollars and cheaper than any other games I wanted. I played 100s of hours and absolutely got every penny of value out of it. T.O. being on the cover was a large reason I wanted it (I know, unpopular opinion having him be my favorite player growing up) and man, thank goodness for that so I could experience this absolute banger.

360 version was supposed to be great but it was so clunky and the players looked like they were moving in slow motion. It was hot garbage

The key to beating level 3 is to shoot rockets to the left and right upper screens before the HKs appear, as they appear due to the constant firing of rockets, the hks are instantly damaged and cannot attack the pick up truck

You do a really solid job with your sports game reviews I must say. I watch a lot and cover a lot of sports videos games new and old. I’ve seen bigger platforms cover this game and I must say you do a good job and stack up with them.

Once I played this version, I knew right then and there that it was going to be trash…I’ll stick to the Genesis/SNES-PS2/OG XBOX/GameCube era Maddens

Madden 04-06 was my favorite era the radio show in franchise was chefs kiss, although i think 2010 and 11 were the best ever and it's been all downhill since

Madden 08

Madden 06 was just unfinished and a rushed out the door tech demo on the 360 and ironically had the best graphics for any Madden in the 360 era . With that being said the 360 version of Madden wasn’t the worst console version in the series. For me , it was Madden 64 on the Nintendo 64. The ps1 and sega Saturn releases of Madden 98 a few months prior were definitely way better

I would probably say Madden 04. I've always been more of a NHL fan because I'm from Alberta but Madden 04 I had to buy years later because I was genuine curious about it and the GBA link cable functionality for both games. Lol.

Madden 12 was my very first Madden, which got me into football and turned me into a football fan.

Crazy to see how lackluster the 360 version was, but you can tell they were spread thin making the 6th-gen version, and now a 7th-gen version for launch and to showcase that platform. Glad I can stick with my GC version knowing it’s better lol! Oh and if the passing sucks in this game, you HAVE to play Disney Sports Football on GC…🤣. Another great review, from the best sports game reviewer on YT!

they dialed the graphics way back for whatever reason after 06-07 for 360 for whatever reasons

I was so bummed out when I got it for 360. I tried hard to like it, but I just couldn’t.

We can all agree that is version of Madden sucked I prefer to play the 6th Gen version every time I revisit this game.

Shame on you. 😝 The thing I remember the most of _Madden 06_ was the fear of the ‘Madden Curse’ because Eagles are my team and it was well known that Madden’s cover athletes often ended up injured during the season.
