WMATA’s ATO running with the “Design Speed” boost really is an amazing thing to see…it was nice for the 3 days it lasted (they’ve since reduced the max regulated speed to 59 on the Red in ATO)

From an inspector's standpoint, this looks like a pretty cool board for a demo set-up for our firefighters. It is a well-put-together system.

They aren’t too terribly hard to set up, the main thing is having the right wire and knowing how to program the system to simulate alarm scenarios. I personally have this set up specifically as a “lab” of sorts to test alarms I collect, this was thrown together with things that were laying around so nothing’s really as neat as it probably should be
