WMATA (DC Metro) Trains 2000-2001 Departing Rosslyn

Update - As of May 10, 2024, the 2000-series trains have been retired from service completely. These ran from 1982 to 2024.
With the apparent absence of the 2000-series trains on Washington, DC metro recently, I figured I’d post this clip I got of the Alstom-refurbished Breda 2000 series trains departing Rosslyn on the Silver line. Filmed this on February 9 of this year, showing cars 2000, 2001, and 4 3000 series cars that I can’t identify because the numbers are blurred out in this video.
The 2000 series has been WMATA’s longest running series in terms of passenger service from what I can tell, running about 42 years or so (since 1982!)

i remember taking the OR/SV/BL lines between foggy bottom and a bunch of stations east of it while i was visiting in 2022. WMATA operated what is easily the most comfortable ride out of the three systems i took that year (SEPTA and the MTA are the others)

I initially thought this was from when you and I met up on March 22nd. I was wrong. I realized that it was a no-passenger train at the time, and I was standing on the other side of the pylon to the left-hand side.
