Both mono and stereo boxes are only suitable for listening and replacing with new ones. They have no real collectible value and are not at all similar to the first presses. I don't understand who is raising the prices on them. Ordinary consumer goods, not the Grail. The images are blurry, the cardboard is slightly glossy and bears little resemblance to the chic laminate of the old days. At the same time, it also seems to be a little sticky. Only books are good. I have this shit, but at starting prices. I would never forgive myself for buying this garbage at the current fantastic prices. Yes, it's new, strong, acceptable, sealed... junk - in an oversized box. This is why I don't recommend buying vinyl boxes. It's better to spend money on the individual albums you need. But it's even better to find old records in good condition.

I have ran this machine for two years now. It is unparalleled. People who are saying $4,000 are psycho. I just bought my second set up. I have one at home and now I just bought one for my music store. I paid for the kit which is $1100. The 1L vat is in extra $100. If you have a spin clean it is useless to this machine. It would be like playing in little league compared to playing in the Major Leagues. I have now cleaned over 5,000 records with my first machine and i use distilled water, few drops of iliford, 4 ozs alcohol. Each record is at least 1/2 grade better. How do I know this I play graded 1,000 records and then when my machine came in I re graded them. Most of these records were at least 1/2 grade better. ONE must have been really dirty because it went from VG to Excellent- a full grade.

Im going to eat my words on a previous comment. I bought a Vevor lp cleaning cavitation machine for $161 delivered. I use my 30 year old Nittygritty 1.5 vacuum machine to dry. Works a treat. I have thousands of lps that range from 70 years old to new. I've cleaned a couple of hundred lps and they all sound better, really better.

Why does Marantz seem to no longer support this player? They act as though it never existed. One example: On their website, there's no download for the driver needed to play files via UBS from a computer. The SA-KI Ruby (only 4-5 years old) is not even listed!

ok, this guy has his business making a living selling these machines, good luck to him, though the claims might be true i personally i would rather spend 1,000+ dollars on records and use my own inexpensive though 100 percent effective method of cleaning, also save on electricity!

i would doubt if any brush alone would remove static completely, i would either use an antistatic gun away from the turntable or wash the records in a VinylShelter fluid bath and wet brush with a goat hair brush, i use a microfibre brush for dry brushing on the turntable. i don't like the spindle spinner, much better to clean the record on a flat table.

Magic! i still have my Tommy bought in UK in December 1969, played it over 100 times and still sounds fantastic, though i still get caught out by the side sequencing!

Original sounds better on transistor radio, where it sounds like a band playing. We would press the radio speaker right onto our ears for massive volume.

Some wonderful music and the great thing about albums are that I could easily choose a completely different one hundred essential records to have in a collection . From The Cocteau Twins , The Raincoats , Kraftwerk to. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Phillip Glass and so many more now obscure bands . Every album I own stirs thoughts of a time ,place and people , something I unfortunately cannot relate with any CDs I own .. They do sound far better now but still are not the sum of parts I feel from vinyl albums .but it’s a tired subject now . Much like debating the pros and cons of arts different forms . But I can never escape the feeling it is music by AI for AI , which we appear to be finding of more in recent times . We lose things in some that we gain in others and vinyl has a human aesthetic even in its imperfections . My grandfather loved collecting books and stamps all his life and some can understand the aesthetics and love he felt for them , but they meant something more than the perfect quality of the printing . Maybe a bad analogy but you know what I mean I think ? I am only recently becoming drawn to earlier music genres as Jazz and your list has certainly spiked my interest .its importsnt to try to discover great music that we may lose completely otherwise .

Great to all these turntables. So many records with finger marks though and plenty of dust too. The low angle lighting always extenuates this. I love turntables with dust covers. Saves a lot of cleaning in my book and I play records every day on a turntable with a dust cover. These things work.

Analog planet, you should persuade GZ Media to finally put the records into the plastic antistatic bags. Most of the records they put into the paper sleeves, which make a lot of damage to brand new records !

A lot of their equipment is from Croatia records Croatia. The bustards sold it in mid nineties for tips thinking they didn't need it anymore ! How short sighted group. And, also, to empty a few warehouses they throw into trash a few millions of produced records !!!! And, now Czechs make money ! Bravo Czechs.

Seeing turntables getting this attention warms me as I was and still am involved in turntable development. Analog is far from being dead in this world. This segment shows how important this is. I still love the vinyl format and what it brings to the table. You may not get it, but it matters a lot even more now than it ever has. I commend these turntable manufacturers for their efforts are not going unnoticed. I for one will continue to carry this analog torch with me. To each their own. As for me, it is the best media for music reproduction. Enjoy the music people and know true love for that music with vinyl!
