Hey bud, the slow-mo with the cotton riding was a cool shot, it's surprising other bassheads or people (i make a separate distinction. No, jk lol) haven't shot something like that more. A lot of people throw a rag and things in the port, or for more extravagent systems floating things in the window or elsewhere, to give a visual representation of how much air it's moving. But I have not seen a lot of people give a super slow mo shot of it. Nice idea.

What is that buzzing noise coming from that Stroker? Might be time for a Stroker Pro Classic 15! Would really flex & have some major excursion then, without the buzzing

What is a cluster motor? Neo? Z series?
@drittal
@drittal 5 ай бұрын
It’s a 91K SQL sub from the late 90’s. The motor doesn’t have the normal single stack of large diameter ferrite ring magnets, but a “cluster” of seven small diameter stacks. You can see the Voice coil and pole piece between the gaps.

im sorry but i just dont see the point,yea im old school i had four 12's back in 1988 and the subs that jacob fuller is producing for us is just outrageous and its like why pass it up,his nsv5 series woooo damn but then he goes and builds the sddn series that are over 3,000 watt subs each and can take a beating and put out the best bass ever produced on this planet.sorry i get it your doing kind of a old school build,not really but,we didnt have ports like that back then,ive got a 8 inch aero myself,your amps look nicely done,never heard of the brand but doesnt matter.anyways good luck to ya

The point is the same reason we restore and build classic cars. New sports cars handle better, accelerate faster, brake quicker, better mileage, more comfort, etc… There is just something cool and captivating about the legends of our youth. (PS: this is the trunk of a 68 Barracuda) NEVER HEARD OF US AMPS??? SAY WHAT??? in the mid nineties US amps, including the VLX 400 ruled the spl lanes. 44” class AB surfboard pumping out over 2400w at 1/2 ohm with .03% thd. Often paired with strokers. The brand is being relaunched, big power from clean class AB amps again.
