Sorry for replying this late, but I don't believe such capabilities are possible in Besiege currently. The most effective tracking radars aren't very effective at all.

I have an issue, the ballast won't connect to the pistons.. the hitbox doesn't raach, what do i do?
@yekt-yayekt3 ай бұрын
The piston's "pink" connection sphere (assuming you are using colliderscope) should be the one that attaches to the ballast (assuming you are talking about the ballast which holds the cannon). To make it reach, turn on advanced building (which is under the cog menu) and use the translation tool (the one with 4 arrows) to move the ballast into the range of the spheres. Scale the blocks accordingly so that they fit.

is barrels relly better than smooth surface? *thinking*
@yekt-yayekt3 ай бұрын
I think smooth surface is better and this is corroborated by other people's testing. But I haven't done any conclusive testing so I cannot say much on the matter. As in regards to the video, I just chose barrels randomly, not for the fact that they are superior in performance.
@0a7363 ай бұрын

It uses a block that is attached to the intangible machine which always faces the intangible machine due to tension in a rope. This system no longer functions as an update broke it.

Hi, I could certainly collect some examples and demonstrate them. But that might take a while because I'm slightly busy at the moment (irl) and that I'm not the most knowledgeable person on this subject since I mostly use torsion bars or simple spring/bending-mechanism based suspensions.

In the upper right corner there is a gear where you can open settings with a category called visuals. I only have two buttons on it, which are cluster and skins, but others have more settings, such as the hitbox, which many people use. And I don't know if it's a mod or what, but I can't find any information about it.

future spin block track video sounds great, i'm too stubborn to give up treads, but can't find any way to improve on the basic wheels and hinges.
@yekt-yayekt9 ай бұрын
Thanks, if you want, you can dissect the workshop file. The basic idea of spin block treads is just that they're slightly angled so they can attach to each other (because compared to hinges their connection trigger is in the center). Although the rotation may seem bad, but the few degrees (compared to the zero angling of hinges) is actually okay and enables them to function, perhaps even better than hinges.
