I recently tried using your link to join Descript, and I noticed that the price through your link was $44, while I could normally join for $35. I really appreciate the effort you're putting into promoting the product, but I just wanted to point out that the price difference was a bit surprising.
@meredithmarsh5 күн бұрын
That's odd. My link goes to the pricing page where I see $44 for the month-to-month option of the creator plan. I'm not sure where you're seeing $35 but thanks for letting me know. I don't control where my descript link goes.

Hi @Meredith! Thanks for the video. Quick question, does the toll have a studio sound enhancement? I don't have a mic but Descript for example, can make you sound like you're in a professional srudio. Can Tella do the same or similar?

The over the top sales page, exorbitant monthly pricing and the credits cap is a deal breaker for me. I get the impression the people behind the app are just after some quick dollars.

A month ago, I figured out I could swivel my camera and mic around and put a soft chair on the other side, so sometimes I am at my desk and sometimes I am in a softer view.

I am brand new with the Prompter and everyone talking about it says you can simply drag your camera image easily to display it in a manner that you can see yourself while reading the script. I have yet to see anyone describe exactly step by step how to accomplish "draging or otherwise causing the display to show the camera image while also scrolling. Still searching.

@@stevedrinkard1043 it depends on your setup but if you’re using the prompter software from elgato you should be able to follow their help files

Hi, Thanks for an amazing video (and channel). Is there any chance you know if I can use the Elgato prompter with a Sony 15 mm f 1.4 Sony Emount lens without having vignetting horisontally or vertically? I am going to use the Sony zv-e10 ii camera. Kind regards Anders
@meredithmarsh9 күн бұрын
@@AndersMichaelNielsenMatema-k9w thanks! I don’t know for sure about the Sony lens but the prompter comes with several different size rings so you can get a perfect lens fit. Check elgatos site, it might tell you the ring sizes they have
@AMNielsen9 күн бұрын
I am not concerned about if there is an adaptor ring to that size. I am concerned that the wide angle lens will have the edges of the prompter in its frame.

Great video Meredith. I was as surprised as you that there was a credit-limit surprise ;-( The high price is ok, when you can put down the subscription of other bots like ChatGPT. I was experimenting for a day and lost almost half of my credits.. I think the concept is brilliant. The usage should be fair use to make me the biggest fan. I give myself a month to built true worth with Poppy. I dont want to wait for a month to get new credits when i am exploring and experimenting the usage.

"I should have started building an email list years ago!" is what a KZbinr with 265k subs recently told me. We are working on building his email list as we speak. He said he didn't focus on building a list early on because he never expected his channel to take off. But now that it has, he wishes he started earlier! So don't be him! Start now.
