I am a local and I can tell you that Garmin missed a few secondary roads and some nice spots as well. Very near to that road where your friend punctured, there's another beach and to reach it there's a steep downhill and then a 21% climb called Gnejna Bay. Then there's a country road which you could have taken and it's all uphill towards a hamlet called Tas-Salib (literally "of the cross"). From there on to a place called Mtahleb (the "h" has a sound as a harsh "h" in "whole"). There is a downhill which winds using "U-bends" to reach the place and that same hill is used for car hill-climb events. From there onto to Dingli Cliffs all the time using secondary and quiet roads which are most of the time devoid of traffic except some farmer's van/truck/tractor. Well done to both of you and I hope you did enjoy your stay. Maybe you can re-visit and plan a little better.

You always look so nice all dressed up. Nice to see you found our friend Amy at the gathering. She's a sweetheart. Here in Texas, when the temp plummets down near 10C we have to bundle up and still shiver out on the bike lol. You guys often ride in cold and wet weather and don't seemed all that bothered.

It was the second time I’d heard Jack’s heartbreaking story and I still got a lump in my throat listening to what they went through again! My nephew had a similarly difficult birth and needed lots of medical help too, which is why I love supporting Action Medical. It was such a great event though. Gutted I didn’t get to chat to you Katie, but glad you had a great night. 👌🏻
