I feel like both Gaia and Kronos have what it takes to be in S tier. Imo Oranos is the weakest of the three atlantean gods. Yeah sky passages are a nice thing to have but keep it mind it's limited to 5 at a time.

IMO the way this game will remain healthy = when constant tournaments are held . Voobly had certain players who payed for showmatches. - make a champions league with like 4-10 players every weekend/month . These are ranked showmatches between the top 10 or 20, viewers can gift and donate if they want or you fundraise for a pot of $. - top players attract the majority of players, since the majority can learn form the topplayers. - (TRUE) community balancing assist , this means even the Norse and Atlantean player base needs to become honest when it comes to balancing; because untill now they were often the reason for nerfs/buffs . Greeks and Egyptian are crippled all the time anyways, but also need to admit the abuse to make the game balanced and attractive for all. - (TRUE) top player (of each pantheon) balancing assist : a main atlantean/greek/norse/egyptian top player who every 2-4 weeks come together to discuss the balance and SENT THEIR IDEAS TO DEVELOPMENT.

In my opinion, it's amazing to have someone like John who cares so much, is so engaged, and does a great job connecting the pro world with amateurs. For some reason, one day KZbin showed John's video on my homepage, it caught my attention, and here I am-I got into multiplayer and the whole thing <3

I disagree with streaming. These tops players should be making youtube videos like magic. New players getting into the game will be looking up build orders which will add interest to the game. People who watch twitch are already invested into the game. KZbin traffic will be way better than streaming

It's not up to the community to keep the game alive, it's a total responsability of the company to provide content that makes people feel interested in the game to keep playing or start playing it, and so far they're not doing a great job at it, the Arena of the Gods feels very mid and hand't managed to attract enough audience to the game, if the chinese expansion doesn't do well it's likely the game will fall down, on top of that the developers aren't doing a great job, the game still has some bugs. I say this from the perspective of someone who plays the game ateast once per day, I've been a very big fan since the og game.

Although I want this game to succeed and be on a healthy state with all my heart, you were doing circles with your arguments and Lindberg is solid on his point of view. No top player or anyone should be responsible for making this succeed. Community stuff should be organic but lead by the game itself being good. Everything else helps and any one should feel empowered to do it but does not have to be forced. If there is an opportunity and option, only the ones that want it should go for it and they will appear

Commenting for the algo gods. Interesting talk, even if they were bulling you (assuming you are friends though, hopefully). Strong points on the balancing side but really seem to not understand your most than valid point than DLC and casual content helps keep the game alive. There is more than ranked ladder in this game, custom games are huge (FFAs, funny stuff). Also I was hoping for Arena of the Gods to be something as good as Starcraft 2 Coop, but that missed the mark. It is not as bad, but definitely lacks replay and community / cooperative value (not even auto-matchmaking and having to manually look for someone to play is bad). Having said that seems it just lacks polish and may get better over time.

I often forgot Odin had regen even before it got nerfed.

Most relics have different value for different gods, but even though this ranking in of itself isnt too accurate for a specific god, thoughts and insight about each relic is very helpful.

A lot of relics are god dependent. Archchimedes ledger has some value if you’re going Kronos.

Tyrfang is really fun with Freyr and his hersirs that have so many upgrades

Anvil is op relic if you play freyr(makes last upgrades cost 150 gold) or for thor(especially early on)
