For the greeks Demeter and Hestia are 100% the picks for a fourth major god, Hera could also be promoted to major god and we have Metis (Zeus first wife) to replace her, but i doubt that, maybe if we have 6 major gods in total. I do see Typhon also be one, afterall we have evil gods as major gods, but i see Typhon more for the atlanteans. Of all them Demeter seems the better choice since greeks don't have a god focusing on economy. With Persephone, Amphitrite or Hestia (If they decide they dont want to add more major gods) and Nike or Despoina (Another Demeter daughter that is not as know) for minor gods. One of the heroes could be Triptolemus that is a hero associated with Demeter, that could gather resources faster and also maybe build. For the atlanteans i rather dont have Chaos and go with Nyx, Tartarus or Pontus instead, Nyx also works as the opposite of Uranus, she is also well known, and she has a lot of sons that could be minor gods like Thanatos and Hypnos. Tartarus would be really interesting to have with how it connects it underworld and also works as the opposite of Uranus. Tartarus is the father of Typhon, so Typhon could be either a GP, Myth unit or minor god for Tartarus. Pontus is here cause it is the primordial god of the sea and the atlanteans are man of the sea. For the atlanteans i do also want to suggest the addition of Campe the guardian of underworld before cerberus as a myth unit, a very bizarre monster that is kinda a female version of Typhon, search it up and you will know why.

What about if Typhon was a major god for the Atlantean’s that just massively buffs Myth units, and his special tech reduces Myth unit Favour cost by 50% his god power could also let you transform a Unit into a myth unit applicable for the age your in so you could turn Citizens into Pegasus, in 1st age, 2nd age turns units into any myth unit from Age 1, so on and so forth

Chaos and Nyx feel too nebulous to me for Major gods. I would choose Pontus for Atlanteans. Maybe with Metis or the mother of the Muses, Iapetus, and someone else. Demeter with Hestia, Iris or Nike, and Persephone and yeah it would be interesting to swap one of Hades’s minor gods out for Persephone. Egypt Atum with Mut, Hathor, Khonsu? Honestly there is a lot to choose from here. Maybe Kek for the meme.

At the time of creating the AoM, it was believed that there was only one god Kronos. But now consensus is that there are two different gods. Thats why AoM lore mixes up two deities. Hope this clears things up

For Egyptian mythology, it’s kind of hard to think of new god for a DLC mostly because a lot of myth tech references minor gods, but I do know at least one Hathor the crocodile God replaced her in retold so it feels appropriate

For Atlanteans, I've heard Nyx floated. I think they may steer away from Chaos simply because his name is too generic. Nyx would have Thanatos as a minor god.

For the Greeks, I think Hestia or Demeter are the obvious choices for Major God. I don't think Persephone would be anything more than a technology upgrade. Artemis should be a Heroic Age god like Apollo.

I agree but you need minor gods as well for the new major god. Persophone is the daughter of Demeter. She would be a minor god 100%

@johnarbiter I feel like there are too many prominent greek gods to waste a slot on her with anything more than a god technology. Like her story in relation to Demeter is being the reason why winter exists. Could even be part of Demeter's god power is triggering winter and making enemy farms ineffective. However, the important thing to note is that none of this is Persephone's doing. She really doesn't do much as a goddess, being known moreso for what others do to her, and her domain is redundant with Demeter anyway.

It's no so odd to see Egyptian influences considering the Greek states and Egypt were in contact. They learned practical mathematics from the Egyptians for example, the Greek then further abstracted to more theoretical stuff
