I think, people should just remember, this is about the love for the music they made that changed their lives for the better. I dont know if I'd go so far as to say they're still trying to passive aggressively 'beef' with each other; sometimes people just want to focus more on the music and take it in a new direction (which is what I think amy did with her 'Synthesis' project, I think the removal of guitar riffs someone mentioned was due to it being more classical sounding). In case for Ben reworking old songs, he has a right to do the same, since he helped create them and I think its one of those things that, if you create something that has that big of an impact, the magical feeling you get and pride from that creative work is eternal. I think its only natural to want to revisit those songs and try doing new things with them all these years later (especially with all of the technology and programs we have now to make the process more painless and less consuming). Let's just all agree to enjoy the music, this is a beautiful rework by the way! This song has had a special place in my heart since its original release, along with 'Understanding', 'Lies', 'My last breath' and 'Whisper' from the older era of songs, though all Evanescence/Ben Moody songs have something unique about them in their own right IMO. Evanescence might be vastly different now, no one can deny that (not saying they're the best or the worst, theres just a different dynamic with new people) but I think we can all still appreciate the memories and magic brought to these songs by all involved in the band over the years. I sincerely hope everyone who's helped in the process of these songs keep doing whatever makes them happy, truth be told, their band saved my life in many ways years back when I was a teenager listening to 'Origin', 'Fallen' and some of their old demos I'd find on torrent programs. Now, all these years later, I hope life stays wholesome and fulfilling for many years to come, for all of Evanescence's past and present members.
