I'm planning to enlist once I'm finished with my senior year and I made that decision after asking so many people about it around me, active and retired. They make unbreakable bonds that will last for their lifetime. Important tell the truth and get help. Your feelings are valid for loving the parent, yet hating what happened & the feelings which go with the imbalance of nurturer who also became predator. Keep telling the truth, know to seek justice while working on healing makes sense & those who are angry with you have their own journey. Maybe some day the family can get to a better place, but for now you can only work on you. Please think through how to protect your daughter from him - If your grandmother &/or other family/friends do not want to believe he did this to you then they may not take necessary precautions.
