Had a 22 TRD Pro for 4 months and traded it in for a 22 Raptor. The TRD Pro will never be a raptor competitor. Terrible turning radius, and a very noticeable throttle delay when coming to a rolling stop.

Do you guys shut off that Chevy active fuel management system before you install that Whipple? I've been hearing those Chevy V8s have been having problems with their engines and something about some possible bearing issue. Has any of your truck builds had an engine failure yet?

Other than lightness, which adds strength... in the sand, it is very important that the distance between the front and rear tires be short so that they do not get stuck on the top of the sand hill. We call it in Saudi Arabia the sword of the hill. The sword is the trap for cars in which the chassis is longer than necessary.

Having a off-road truck that is extremely overweight and cannot be topped off with fuel cans in the desert or off-road trail hours from civilization isn't even slightly practical. Getting it stuck would be extremely expensive to tow out of a trail. So yeah I bet someone will do it.

@@davidbaltimore9547 I don't think you know the purpose of this truck at all. Long travel trucks are made for most desert trail terrain. You know like the Baja 500 or Moab where I take my Raptor. An electric truck weighs more than a combustion engine making it harder to have "down right fun", harder to jump, will get stuck on climbs easier, etc. These back road trails that these trucks are made for are long enough to drain a tank while having fun, I never mentioned over landing. Are you this out of touch with reality?
