God, the way the music for giratina's phase 1 has its iconic bass ostinato but never its melody, and then they pull the melody out, synth orchestra hits and all, to accentuate the change to origin forme. PLA is the real sinnoh remake, and it's so fucking special

Am I the only one who saw thos scene upon first playing the game and just thinking to myself "WTF we talking about? What do you mean I'm being exiled?" I went silent from the furst accusation from Kamado, you could've heard a bird on the other side of the world with how quiet my room got upon seeing this.

I wanted to use this thing on my playthrough team, but I couldn't find any in the wild. Ended up using both Cyclizar and Grafaiai in terms of normal types. (The former was a wild tera one, hence why I slipped it in.)

I loved this game so much. This was the hardest battle I’ve ever had in a pokemon game, a twist I did not expect. Amazing game. Game Freak did everything right with this game.

For context as to how insane this match is, I one time went through an entire brand new save file of the game just for fun, them for the Volo match, transferred 6 lvl 100 shines from my old switch. This giratina manages to take out two and leave a 3rd in the red.

One time is a seperate save file, I transferred 6 lvl 100 shinies from my main file, yet still managed to lose half my team in the fight. The game's battle system is the main thing to blame, but Giratina did claim 2 of those 3 kills.

Imagine the horror on my younger brother's face when he comes up to me explaining that he summons Guratina after beating his main 6 and asked if I could beat it for him while he does something else and let's just say I found out about the 2nd phase the hard way while doing this for him. (I'd yet to finish my own savefile of the game since I was busy helping him with his) His team was Dialga, Palkia, Cresselia, Typhlosion-H, Heatran, Regigigas. Giratina danced thier graves as it killed them. He finally beat it on his own, but that was via grinding his team all the way to level 89. The Giratina is lvl 70.

I remember facing Volo and finding the plot twist to be shocking, but my dumb @$$ had the volume muted and even then have never played the OG sinnoh games anyway. I will admit that while I beat him first try, it was only because of substantial luck. (I had mostly healthy Overqwil and low health Hippowdon upon the battle's end, and this includes the Giratina phases)

loved the twist of cynthia's ancestor being a villain while cyrus's ancestor was an ally. if you have a close attachment to the original DS games then it was natural to go in expecting cynthia's kin to be one of the good guys, so the betrayal def catches you off guard. great story choice 👌

I'm honestly so glad I didn't get spoiled for this endgame. I saw only the thumbnail of this video, and I was like "I have to come back to this after I finished my game" I thankfully I did. I honestly DIDN'T think much when I saw the thumbnail but still. Best Pokémon Game of all time! (Also I this isn't my first time watching this video, just so you know)
