He still has more life left in him so we can't eat that one? Or what is the wild conservancy reasoning behind all the regulations in crabbing? I find trolling to be... not too productive, personally. I just walk around the lake and toss spoons at various locations. I limit out, and catch some pretty big cutties and rainbows. That being said, its next to impossible to catch Kokanee from the shore, unless you're near a deep drop off.

Will frozen roe work? I already had a guy tell me roe 2 days old was too old, then I proceeded to catch a 6 footer from shore with it. I figure freezing roe in the bags is probably fine?
