If Boxable are taking reservations without at least a 10-20% deposit that must come with a guaranteed 6 mobth timeline delivery promise that penalize Boxable or any company. You know the 120,000 reservations is HIGHLY INFLATED DEMAND figures to show any serious interests and delivery promise!!! Do NOT believe this snake oil housing solution promise because MORE THAN 60% of tiny homes companies have ALREADY gone bankrupt!!!

After adding on the costs of land and utilities, they're definitely not competitive with many condos and townhomes in some parts of the country.

I've been in Ozark since 7th grade, and it's been absolutely amazing . Now I'm 25 years old and would choose Ozark over everywhere else. The schools are doing amazing with kids, and the teachers care a lot. The teachers there got me through a lot, even when I wanted to just stop and give up. I am aware of the bullying, but that's everywhere and not as bad as Nixa.

Boxabl does make it easier to *expand on it.* Buy another one to stack on top of it or next to it as your needs grow. I would get a Tesla PowerWall and build an unfinished basement. Lucky for me... I wont be ready to buy for another 4 to 6 years.

I’m retired and live in Crestview. It’s very nice. We take walks through our neighborhood and it’s safe and the people are pleasant. You don’t have to get on an interstate to get to a store like some places I’ve been. They are working on the bypass which should help with the traffic.

I always had questions about those boxeble does they connect to the city electricity, water, sewer system? Cuz black water with crap has to go somewhere. That also can bring price up. I don't think is worth buying a closet for that price

First off I wouldn't buy a small glass of water from this douchebag. Panama City has 2800 broken water meters so they get to estimate your water bill. My bill was 110$ for 2k of water last month. They also have 140 fire hydrants that don't work. The mall is closed the papermill is closed and rent has tripled in 6 years. The main marina is closed and the lesser marina is being repaired yippy it only took 6 years to get started. The Civic Center is a pile of rock. The Federal court house is closed as is the junior court house. But this city has more vacant lots for sale then any were else I know. The city water mains are leaking on every street except were the rich people live ( the cove ). To come here if you are a down right fool.

the BBB site says they have a F rating. I was digging deeper in the whole thing and found out that . I am not going to buy anything from someone that has a F. Plus there are lots of people saying they were charged up to 100,000 more.

Last week I talked to a contractor who is a dealer for Boxabl here in Northern Ca. His salesman was pretty slick and I signed a context then started doing the math. I was paying over $100,000 for the Boxabl, shipping and his $30,000 dealer fee. This was after permits, which were unknown cost at the time. I backed out after researching the company practices, and is F BBB rating.

Your buying a 'prefab' which is ALWAYS SEPERATE from buying land, grading, installing septic/fields, well, etc. as well as having a foundation already prepared for the 'prefab' - which are all costly but necessary. Its a matter of common sense - and following the ZONING LAWS for each city/ state that are all different - tiny house or not. Also know that a tiny house is still a house ONLY UNLESS ITS MOBILE/ ON WHEELS. Many zoning laws have MINIMUM SQUARE FOOTAGE for a primary residence. You just cant get a box house & plop it anywhere in MOST States - unless its an ADU

11/09/24: An article on MSN today, interviewing a real estate agent named "Yawar Charlie" with Aaron Kirman Group, states this regarding Pensacola, FL: "Pensacola’s picture-perfect turquoise and sparkly white sandy beaches are the ultimate escape, but Charlie warned homebuyers to stay away. 'This city has faced economic challenges and limited job growth, which impacts the housing market,' he said. 'High crime rates and a lack of new development projects make it less appealing to investors.' " "According to Neighborhood Scout, crime is 86% higher than in other cities in the state and 1 in 33 people have the chance of becoming a victim of a violent or property crime." “ 'Investing here could feel like trying to catch a wave in a kiddie pool,' Charlie stated. ". SO after reading this, I am no longer interested in Pensacola, FL. NOPE. Dang it.

Have you actually been to the gulf coast? The low temps bottoming out at 50 in the winter is far from true. It gets cold here, with lows anywhere from the 20s in the extreme to the 40s during a typical winter night. Please try and be accurate.

Are they really waterproof, draft proof, bug proof? The wall joints seem very open. Even caulking isn't going to fill those gaps like tightening them up would. Just curious because I could see how a Boxabl could be a quick way to get a home onto a small pad, and then follow it up with more Boxabl or whatnot to build out a bigger home. With maybe $60k for some land, and $50k for the Boxabl, another 20 to 50k for labor, utility hookups, the whole thing would be brand new and still cheaper than most mobile home setups.

$78k delivered and set up. Delivery distance was approximately 450 miles. The unit is quite weather proof let alone very well insulated, better than any 3 of the homes I've owned. I was quite skeptical about the unit when the owner of the property I manage (RV park) informed me of it's delivery when it was in route. I continued my skeptical opinion when the truck showed up with the box on the trailer as they lifted it off, placed it on the structure created and watched then open it. I found it humorous almost thinking "this box is going to be something for someone to live in?" Now the set up is complete, the owner furnished it, built a nice deck on the face of it and, here in the Arizona desert I am quite impressed during the near 100 deg days the ability of it's insulation and the single split AC unit keeping it at a nearly too cool temperature inside. I went from "laughing at it" to respecting the quality of the build. The renters will be here for a long term rental soon. It's actually a very well built unit. (surprisingly ! )
