On the one hand, I applaud the gutsy decision to retake the prison when the prisoners were holding hostages. That type of decision making takes really gutsy and decisive leadership that I like. On the other hand, I think that retaking the prison could have obviously been handled much better. I think some of the police who retook the prison were criminally negligent in the way that they opened fire. Firing into a hostage situation with shotguns was downright disgusting and negligent! The shotgun fire is what probably killed many of the hostages.
