I've seen two excellent cross cosplays. The first was a guy playing Shimakaze from KanColle. And the second was a guy playing Rory Mercury from the anime Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri. The second is an anime you guys should check out.

It's great Subaru got some closure with his past, a lot of isekai protagonists never even think about the life they came from. (Except Rudeus.) Shame his parents don't have that same closure, and never will.

Episode 4 is one of my favorites for Re: Zero - right up there with the battle against the White Whale, and the 90-minute long Season 3 opener. It's painful, of course, as he basically says goodbye to his parents, and also confronts his past and how he was making himself (and them) miserable with his selfish, entitled angst. (But hey, he was also a teenager, and we all got that way at one time or another). And we see that he's on the road to growing as a person. He admits to them (and to himself) what he did wrong, apologize to them (or at least to their mental proxies), and... as we see with him preparing to go to school... he's starting to take the first steps to change himself. So many isekais just abandon the character's past life. "Woot! I'm in another world! And I'm the best at everything even though I was nobody in my past life! Everything's great!" I really love how this show (and Mushoku Tensei) take the time to look back on where the MC comes from, and how that shapes the person they are. This one also makes me sad to think about how awesume the Natsukis are, and how torn up they must have been when their son disappeared...

S2 gets even slower than S1 at times (IMO). Although all the setup pays off in the end. S3 has been rocking and rolling.

The frist trial was about the past, in my opinion it was an easy test for subaru, he was born in a good environment, his parents were good people, he had his strugle about the way he lived, but it's something he could deal with. That's why i don't think it was hard for him, he could look his past and not get hurt by it. But to Emilia, a half elf who looks exactly like the envy witch, the past would be way diferent

They could be good people or this could also be the perspective of a very isolated and insecure kid since Subaru also said in the novels this about his dad “At least, Subaru’s experience of being tied up and confined was only limited to that one time he flipped over the coffee table while imitating some anime, completely pissing off his father who threw him into the storehouse as punishment. That was a memory from way back, even before he entered elementary school” I doubt they’re bad people tho, but locking your 10yo kid in a storage unit is crazy work 😂

Honestly I think it was easier for him because he technically faced the trial in S1 e18. If it was that Subaru here, it would have probably taken some time for him to pass the trial

In national team level if the team wanna got to training camp before the tournament, usually the coaches call 30 to 40 players. And he will select 25 to 30 players to registered to the tournament (each tournament have different rules how many players can be registered). But not all players who registered to the tournament can be players who registered for the matches. On the match day, team only can registered starting 11 and substitute 11 to 12 players. That's why after Ego announced blue lock XI, other players not eliminated because they will be on substitute.

Sadly the Director of Blue Lock Season 1 quit the job. And some animators too quit the blue lock project. An animator known as Martín Reyes (@/MartinKiings) has spoken about what happened during Blue Lock Season 2's production. He said the working conditions were awful, only given some months to work on the animation, while working on multiple episodes at a time. Most cuts ended up being scrapped and replaced with still frames due to time limitations. Animators were rushed and only given months (as a loose term, no actual number of months) to work on upwards of 5 episodes at a time, And most of their cuts were either removed or replaced with still frames due to higherups and time management. It's sad, frustrating and maddening. Blue Lock has potential but it ruined the animation. and I'm not blaming the artists and animators they did their best for this project, the problem is the higher up which is Kondasha

I think it really says something about this show that almost everyone comes in to Episode 6 really hating on Sajuna's first impression, but then so quickly dismissing that she would be judgmental of a bad cosplay. She was introduced judging the hell out of Marin and being very gatekeepery. And Shinju has probably seen her do it plenty. I also love that Gojo gets so emotional about Marin wearing his clothes.... never mind that both Juju sisters have already done that, Shinju last episode for the cosplay and Sajuna in episode 6.

I love the Shinju episode. And I think it says a lot about how Gojou feels that all the time he's got an attractive girl in his room, wearing his clothes, all his thoughts are on Marin - and he doesn't get flustered until Marin is the one in his clothes. There still hasn't been a release date announced for season 2; from my understanding, the huge popularity came to the production house as a surprise and they just haven't had the space in their schedule yet, but it is still in the preparation stage. (Oddly enough, a live action drama version has just debuted.)

All I can say is....I stopped at season 1 episode 11 years ago. Then, a buddy I was staying with suggested we watch this anime, so we started at episode 11 and binged ALL OF THE REST until morning. I cannot begin to elaborate on how utterly fucked in the head and not okay I was as of the moment season 2 ended. I just stood up and paced the room for a few minutes, I think uttering partial sentences. While my Zoomer buddy just giggled at my dismay. Wonderful, powerful, brilliant and supremely fubar series. I'm kinda obsessed.

I love this show so much. I am just wondering, what will happened at the end. I just think the show won't have happy ending. But man, this season will have so much emotions in it again... It always got me... as twisted and fucked up it can be, it makes human to feel something, really. True masterpiece.

9:20 I think this is a good instinctive take on the whole 'Blessing' and 'curse' situation in this series. This is part of what Bondrewd was talking about in the movie; he had basically come to understand with Nanachi that its a trade where the two are not mutually exclusive and to receive either is a trade off of the other, and its a bit about one's interpretation of the results. I won't say much more on that for now and let you ponder it on your own, but this is a good initial interpretation I think. In general you guys have good first takes on the mysteries this series presents you.

That seems correct. Also, part of Mitty's curse is literally Nanachi's blessing - Nanachi begs not to have Mitty ever taken away from her, and so Mitty cannot be killed or destroyed by any normal means...be carefull what you desire.

@@michajastrzebski4383 Yes I agree. Mitty was probably made un-killable because BOTH wanted it. As its likely many of the children tested on wished not to die, but being pared with animals they had no connection to made their reasons 'selfish'. Bondrewd tell's Mitty she HAS to resist death in order to protect Nanachi. And Nanachi didn't want to lose Mitty. Arguably Mitty was 'blessed' with what she wanted. And 'Nanachi' was blessed with things she didn't know she wanted in the moment. Both were blessed in the moment, equally by what they wanted for themselves and what the wanted for each other; and both came to view what they received as a curse rather then a blessing.

5:18 This show does not really do filler episodes. The episode in the 3rd layer, episode 9, was technically a filler since the manga glossed over that layer for the most part, so they added some stuff to fill it out. There are OVAs, 5 currently, that are entirely optional. They are all also quite short. There are 4 involving Malrulk and one about Prushka. As of the movie you are free to watch these whenever if desired. If you were to only watch 2, the 4th Malrulk one and the Prushka one are probably the most 'worth it', as the others are just a bit of slice-of-life and don't add much new information or context.

I'll give a shorter (or at least less detailed) version and will elaborate if anyone cares. I was saying, In addition to what you said. And this is more speculation rather then what the story tells us directly. Riko also isn't really the conflict type, shes not one to murder someone, even someone like Bondrewd. I think Riko can probably 'understand' Bondrewd and probably still has some level of respect for him considering the culture she was raised in. I doubt she saw him as being selfish or anything, but just got lost in the journey to experience the Abyss; for her this is something many of the best delvers do unintended, including herself. Additionally; I think Bondrewd had the fight drained from him; like on a deeper level then just not having strong bodies left. He says some stuff that leads me to believe he is done with these kinds of human experiments and for him the whole encounter was a 'passing of the torch' moment; sort of handing off responsibility of what he was trying to do to the next generation. Because their ambition is greater, and their methods more pure. They have surpassed him. Their guard was no longer lowered. Riko had become the same rank as him. The team was ready to leave and never return anyway. Bondrewd has lost his best bodies, and had achieved his fixation; his desire to experience being blessed. So in addition to Prushka not wanting it. No one really had reason to at that point, other then revenge, which is usually not a 'good' reason to kill or fight. Everyone was ready to move on.

Theyre sports glasses alot of athletes who have prescriptions wear them actually, i used to get clowned for mine lmao. And even thought its indoors those lights on the field are still bright as hell. And yep ego was saying no one can match shidous level of play but more so his ego, as of right now most of our characters egos are in their infant stages whereas shidous is like elementary school level. Shidou does play well with others just not rin, we saw him openly pass to others and give isagi props he can play adn get along with others fine as long as he sees theyre good enough too and are just cool people. And lets be real i think rin deserves to be hit once ina a while he is pos to everyone he meets and has 0 respect for anyone, maybe thats why sae fw shidou cause hes probably the one person who is closest to putting rin in his place sides isagi

Now you have the answer as to why the letter they sent to the mansion, explaining the allience and incoming Witch's Cult attack, was blank. Rem was the one who wrote it (cause Subaru is still learning how to properly read and write) and the moment her name got eaten her existence was erased from the world including what she wrote in the letter.

Subaru's checkpoint for this loop is before ever meeting Petelgeuse. Petelgeuse doesn't recognize Subaru, he just sees that he has dense "love" (Witch's scent/miasma) upon him and thus assumes he must be a new believer coming to join the Witch's Cult.
