Ah, Ibiki Morino... Another proof that Naruto is way more mature than people may assume. May be animated series, may be for kids, but damn does it not shy away from serious subjects. Knowing hos the story goes, that scene between Kabuto and the sound ninjas hit way different x) Fun fact : in the manga, it's our first time meeting the other kids from Naruto generation. Since the anime did nothing with it prior to this arc, it wasn't necessary to show them at the beggining of the series.

The chuunin exam is my favorite arc in Naruto Part 1. The pacing kinda sucks (like most old shounen anime), but it really got some of the best fights. 😀
