I grew up in nearby Lyndhurst. In the 70's, I had seen Rocky Horror way too many times and bought a lot of albums at Record Revolution! Oh ya, Val's Tavern for the best cheeseburgers and The Flipside for live music on Mayfield near Noble 😊

Very nice piece! Never knew Lady Schenley was such a saga. Saved the best for last too! Squirrel Hill Cafe there has life-altering wings and a chipper staff! 🤘

Although the AI narration totally sucks ass and you should have used a real person's voice, this was a very informative and cool video about the city I call home. Thanks for making it!

Henry Clay Frick's home was in Point Breeze not Sq. Hill. Clayton still stands and is open to public tours. Many of the wealthy had mansions in Point Breeze, just north and east of Sq. Hill.

Went to St Anns school, lived on Coventry and East Overlook, saw my first adult movie sneaking in the back door of the Heights Art theater in the mid 70's at the age of 16, and bought my first bong at Record Revolution. From Cumberland, to Tommy's to the Coventry library, fabulous place to grow up. Thanks for the memories!

WMMS 101 (100.7) FM, was the greatest station, ever, until they were sold, then they turned into a cookie cutter garbage station. My mother was part of the hall of fame volunteers, collecting signatures at Great Lakes Mall. Her musical tastes changed before it was built, so she lost interest in seeing it when it was completed. She would roll over in her grave if she knew rappers and country artists were inducted.

Guns, rum, and slaves is what built “A-QUID-nick” Island’s wealth. The deWolfe family in Bristol continued to own and trade slaves well past abolition. Look it up.

Ignorance: unaware, without knowledge of Stupid: aware, but believes it anyway Perhaps the Ignorant are confusing Jew with Zionism, and/9r the Ownership of the "Federal Reserve Bank Corporation", Central Banks, and the IRS + more ... Perhaps some feed of the negative , low, dark, energy of hate. Focus on the Desire, the Positive, and Learn the "Universal Law of Attraction" which is Absolute. For ... You, We each, are Creating Our own Reality.

My ancestor William Ellery was one of the signers of the declaration of Independence from Rhode Island. When the British occupied Newport they burnt down his house and business. William Ellery was the customs collector at Newport for thirty years until his death in 1820. He was also a staunch abolitionist and also served a few years on the Rhode Island supreme court.

I hope you make one on the formation of Virginia, and those who made her a Commonwealth. My great x's9th grandfather came through Jamestown, around 1650, settling in what is now, Brunswick County. I'm unsure of how the unincorporated town, bearing my maiden name came about, or the town next to it, bearing my father, and son's middle names, but would like to find out more.
