Thank you Matt for sharing the contents of your bags. Additional info is needed for those of us wanting to set bags up similar to yours. I can't find your 5 qt rain catch bag or the reinforced cord with carbiner you like. A brand for these items & for the stove & vented lid kettle would help. Please do a video showing the set up of your various tents, especially the stake tent with reflective emergency blankets. After developing a sudden eye infection, I recommend adding an eye care kit consisting of Eye Wash eye irrigating solution with sterile eye cup, Soothe lubricant eye ointment & an eye patch for nighttime use. Do the eye wash again in the morning then use Refresh Liquigel lubricant eye gel.

how do you correct for the major magnetic pole excursion ?- compass is most likely pointing towards Russia, not the Cardinal N Pole.

Personally, I have memorized what is north both in the town where I live and at my bug out location. Other than that you can use the sun during the day and the stars at night.

I used clear Gorilla tape on cardboard storage boxes. The tape didn't stay closed over time. I now use only strapping tape.
