So glad this wasn’t one and done usage. Served as the writers well.

The alliance with the Federation could fall to dust. The alliance of the Federation is not based on lies, K'mpec. JLP basically went #FAAFO again ........... the flagship captain had stones bigger than the council chambers 😂😂😂😂

For the most part, each revisit to Enterprise as a series ages wonderfully. We had it pretty good then. NuTrek is unwatchable.

One of the best Star Trek episodes of the franchises. Underrated show that should have got a full 7 seasons upto the Romulan war and federation charter

When the runabouts return through the wormhole I imagine the non essential crew of the Odyssey anxiously gathered at the viewports knowing their friends have gone into a dangerous fight. Remember galaxy class had families aboard. I picture the runabouts coming through the wormhole and a feeling of relief then a horrible sinking feeling as they see the runabouts go in to land and the wormhole closing behind them. Then a gathering later in a conference room where Sisko tells them all it's gone, all their friends and family are dead...killed as a demonstration. Imagine walking to that conference room knowing you're going to get really bad news (if there were even escape pods the runabouts would be towing them)...making your legs move forward one step at a time, your heart racing, little beads of sweat on your face...

So basically Spock might have saved the ship (had Kirk not been Kirk..) with his power utilization curve idea.. but idiot Chapel hypo-sprays him out.. thus possibly killing herself and the entire crew.

Gotta love Archer for being a relatively simple man who likes to get hammered and watch water-polo but is also the absolute GOAT of Star Trek human diplomats. In other words, he was able to put the first pieces of the Federation together because he was real and relatable, even to aliens. The story of a guy just trying to get everyone to get along well enough to not kill each other, but he actually ends up putting together the Federation. That is what makes Enterprise brilliant and it is such a shame it got killed just when it was starting to really put the pieces together. As far as Shran goes, he really is one of my favorite Star Trek characters ever. I could watch a show with just Shran lol.

(At 1:01 to 1:03, at 1:19 to 1:22, at 1:45 to 1:47 and 2:11 to 2:16 ) I absolutely love the design of the Elachi Warship here. It has an overall sleek, dark, ominous, sinister, and menacing look. I recently 2 months ago made a LEGO MOC build of this cool looking alien starship. FUN FACTS/BEHIND THE SCENES: In the script for "Silent Enemy", this craft was described as "sleek and dark, so dark, in fact, that it's difficult to make out against the blackness of space." The CGI model of the alien ship and its shuttle was made by Brandon MacDougall. Early John Eaves design sketches of the ship, which he based primarily off of the real life U.S Air Force's retired Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk stealth plane, can be found at John Eaves' personal blog.

I never understood this episide with the klingons wondering what that was.. Considering the klingons had photon torpedos. For example that klingon scout ship in the gas giant that they found and used all its torpedos to get out

"Tales of what happened here today." You know what would really be terrifying? If they never returned. If an entire fleet just disappeared that would be terrifying. I mean it would be a war crime but the Dominion didn't exactly sign the Geneva Convention. Those Breen weapons are a war crime.

To be fair to Braxton, if I recall correctly, when Seven tells Janeway in the past that the Temporal Prime Directive is in play, Janeways says, "I don't care if history itself unravels" or something to that effect. Why, it's almost enough to drive a man to madness, wouldn't you say?

I'm a Navy Vet. I watched this episode and yes I got teary eyed. I'm 55 and my two ships(Supply and Destroyer) are no longer in the service of our fleet. Every year on the day that I arrived onboard, I toast a class to those "Grey ladies" and say "I will always remember you."
